Instructions for authors:

1. In the first column please briefly summarise each point raised by the referee.
2. In the second column, briefly explain how you have responded to each point.
3. In the third column, give the location in the text of the modification – with page and paragraph
number reference.
4. In the text of your paper, please flag up each modification by using the Track Changes function in
MS Word, or by either underlining or highlighting the relevant section. When sending us the
paper, please send us one version showing the changes and one ‘clean’ version (i.e., revised but
not showing the changes).
5. Please email the form back to us or save it on the disk with your revisions so that it can be emailed
to referees if necessary.

Please note: To facilitate a speedy reassessment of your paper, we would be grateful

if the revision sheet was completed with a word processor rather than handwritten.
