SCRIPT

Good morning everyone. I believe you are the students of National University of Singapore. My
name is Abby and I’m a student as well. I’m currently a student of Universitas Multimedia
Nusantara. Today, I will be the person in charge to guide you all throughout this tour session. It’s
my pleasure to show you around our facilities today.

I’m going to show you some of the facilities at UMN across our 4 buildings and I’m going to start
off by taking you around this particular building or what we could say as Building B. Right now,
we are in the main lobby of UMN or what is better known as Lobby B. When entering the main
gate, students must never forget to wear their student identification card. On our left, we have a
libro canteen which serves snacks and beverages. Next to the canteen, we have a library that has 2
floors with a modern interior design. This library has thousands of books collected both locally
and internationally. Besides books, dozens of computers are also provided to help students study
more efficiently. In this library, the students must remain silent at all times. Besides a canteen and
a library, building B also has several classrooms and laboratories. For example, we have physics
lab, green screen studio, game design lab, enterprise lab, news room, collaboration lab, IOS lab,
screening lab, sound design lab, 3D printing lab, radio station, tv studio, and so much more.

Now, we can proceed to the next building which is building A. So, follow me this way. Just behind
me is the marketing office. You can also see a room in the hallway right there. That room is called
the Function Hall. This hall is usually used for seminars, workshops, meetings, and other formal
events. Moving on to the next hallway, we have UMN Medical Center. Medical center is used to
facilitate first aid for patients. During a medical emergency, UMN expert staff are ready to provide
first aid. Next, in this particular building, you will also find the lecturers’ office on the higher floor.

Now, we are going to go and have a look at our next building, and that is building C. Please remain
in a straight line and follow me this way. In order to reach building C, we have to get through a
connector. This is the connector in which people of UMN like to call as “Jembatan Naga”. Here
we are in the canteen area. This canteen has a lot of food stand and almost all of them allows
payment by Gopay. It’s a good news, isn’t it? Moving on to the next floor, we have Kompas Corner
where students can access information straight from the Kompas Information Center. If we go
further to the other corridor, we will find the Student Service Office. On the higher floor, we will
find classrooms for the students to study and on the 12th floor, we will be entering a whole new
area called Skystar Venture. Skystar Venture is an entrepreneurial platform established by UMN
and supported by Kompas Gramedia Group. It is also accredited as the best incubator in Indonesia.
It aims to encourage the growth of collaborative start-up ecosystems. Let’s take a look on the
Skystar Venture. Follow me to the lift.

We have finally get back to the lobby of building C. For your information, we could actually get
into the garden of UMN through this building. UMN has a spacious garden and this green
environment has made UMN successfully ranked 13th as the most green and environmentally
friendly. UMN is also ranked as the most sustainable private university in Jakarta due to its shady
trees and energy-efficient buildings.

Let’s move on to the last building, which is building D. Right next to us, we have a huge hall called
the Lecture Theatre. This hall can accommodate up to 500 people, and is usually used for various
activities such as seminars, workshops, lecturers with guest lecturers, and Student Activity Unit
performances which are also displayed here. Moving on to the 2nd floor, we have the Hotel Lab
(front office), kitchen lab, hotel room, and a bar for hospitality students. Besides the facilities
provided for hospitality students, classrooms are also provided in this building for students to
study. Next, we are going to take a lift to the 23th floor to take a look at the sports hall. In this area,
indoor sports activities such as badminton and soccer are also provided. Besides the indoor sports
hall, we also have the outdoor basketball field which is located next to the parking lot behind
building A.
