GIVING AN OPINON V

I think what you write about elusive achievements is almost biblical as a point of frustration. Like
eating the apple (or pomegranate?) of knowledge in the garden of Eden. The same is likely true
relative to knowing one's own nature rather than chasing to understand external things.

In part it seemed Duchamp was fond of jokes and provocations, but I also hope one day you
will get to experience the joy of the process of making something with porcelain. The materials
are exquisite to work with in your hands.

I feel I do not understand everything that you wrote. I am sorry. So, even though I agree with you in a
certain extent about some aspects you name, this time it’s more difficult for me to answer because
you are replying to what I said, and I can’t identify what is exactly your personal position. It is a
problem of reading comprehension, I guess, or the fact of the complexity of the topic and the means
we’re using to communicate. Something that makes me smile is seeing babies or little kids playing or
interacting with others.

Again, when you mention popular culture, high and low culture. I think you forget the interior
part of people, their values and foundations, what make them go through life. I really do not
understand well when you talk about a reproducible society. I could not name something as high
and something else as low culture. I know this is my opinion, and it cannot contradict all the
studies and papers that have been written during years and years, but I think that social studies
are just that social studies: the analysis of a sample, that is supposed to be reproduced
everywhere for everybody in any time.
