In April 2006, LG Electronics went live on the new global Oracle HR
management system. One of the key features of the system is that it is
engineered to link HR strategies with business goals so the company can
monitor workforce performance against specific objectives or campaigns.

Failure or success.
It was a success as the ERP solution enabled LG to mitigate the challenges
posed by vastly spread global centres, for its Human Resource Management
System requirements. Today, LG continues to benefit with the automated ERP
solution, and continues to enhance it further as needed.
