Today Highlights:

✓ The Honorable Chief Minister of Telangana has conducted a high

level review meeting with the Honorable Minister for Medical
Health and Family Welfare, Chief Secretary of State, Special Chief
Secretary Medical, Health and Family welfare, All senior officials
and Doctors.
✓ The Honorable Chief Minister of the state urged the public to stay
home and adhere to the lockdown guidelines as it is the only way
to prevent spread of infection.
✓ Any confirmed positive case from any district in the state shall be
shifted and treated at Gandhi Hospital Secunderabad only.
✓ The Honorable Chief Minister has announced a 10% incentive
over the Gross salary to all the health staff in the state.

Special Initiative

➢ Till date there is no evidence of community transmission in Telangana.

➢ Daily video conference is being conducted by Chief Secretary with all
concerned officials from 9am to 11am.
➢ 6 Diagnostic labs are functional 24/7 to meet the Diagnostic demand.
➢ The travelers and their contacts of Markaz, Delhi are being tracked,
tested and treated for COVID-19.
➢ Containment activity has been taken up in all the districts where the
positive cases are reported.

Advisory and Appeal to the Public

➢ The Citizens are requested and encouraged to Self Report at the
government health facilities in case of onset of symptoms like fever,
cough and breathing difficulty, travel history to Markaz, Contact
with any person who has travelled to Markaz since 01.03.2020
➢ To contact 104 in case of any doubts or queries pertaining to signs
and symptoms, admission, diagnosis and treatment.
➢ The Public is requested to stay calm and not panic. State is taking
all the measures to contain the spread of the virus to protect and
safeguard the public.
➢ To maintain personal hygiene, hand hygiene, social distancing,
cough hygiene and other preventive measures.
➢ Wash hands frequently and thoroughly with soap and water for 20
seconds.
