Guidelines for the Layout

• Title Page
- Detailed Title of the Research Project
- Name of the Research Guide
- Name of the Research Scholar
- Name of College
- Name of University
- Year & Place of Submission
- (Sample Scanned Copy attached)

• Typography/ Font size


- Times new roman
- Heading – Font size 14
- Sub-heading - Font size12
- Spacing- 1.5/ 2
- Each chapter to start on a fresh page
- Only relevant pictures
- Number the pages, graphs/ tables/pictorial representations (mention in the index)

• Word limit

Abstract – 250-400 words

Project - 6000-7000 words


• Conduct of Viva Voce & Marks Allocation
- Conference call- Research Scholar, Internal Examiner & External Examiner
- Project 50 marks & Viva 50 marks
- Students need to individually pass in both Project and Viva.
- The passing marks 20 out of 50(Project) and 20 out of 50 (Viva)
- The decision of the examiners will be final and binding on the Research Scholar(student)
