Me and my cat?

1. Who are the good and the evil characters in the story?
Good characters:
Nicholas is the main character.
Leonardo is Nicholas' cat.
The Nicholas' mom.
Dr. Wire.

The three cats of the wall.
Mr. Stone's dog, Bernard.
The old lady who was a witch.

Other characters:
Leonardo's mother, Heloise.
The neighbor’s cat, Gioconda.
Mr. McGough.

2. What is the setting?

The story starts in Nicholas' bedroom, then, it talks about some parts of the house,
like the stairs, the bathroom, the office. After that, the story was outside of the
house. Nicholas walked through a wall and he came back to his home. At the next
day, Nicholas went to the school.

3. What is the conflict of the story?

When Nicholas was in his bed, a old lady entered in his bedroom a said some
words that Nicholas couldn't understand. When it was in the morning, Nicholas saw
that he was his cat, Leonardo. It was strange but he saw that the life of a cat is
hard. When it was in the night again, the old lady came back and said that she
went to the wrong address, and said some words, again… and at the morning,
everything went back to normal.
The problem that happened in this story is that a witch went to a wrong house to do
a spell. So, Nicholas was his cat for this big error. But at the final, the witch knew
that he do a mistake and went to Nicholas' house to fix it.

4. What is the solution of the problem?

It was easy, Nicholas just had to wait that the witch went back to his bedroom to fix
the error that she did.

5. What is the theme of the story?

That sometimes you complain a lot but you don’t see that the other people have a
lot of problems too. You have to know that you aren’t the center of the world.
If you do something evil, you can create problems to the other people, so, trying to
be a better person and you will succeed.
