WORK EXPERIENCE

Role:
 Ensuring production planning considering many points such as production lead time, existing inventory and normal inventory
norms, product cost
 Preparing production plan on weekly monthly, quarterly & yearly basis as per requirement in coordination with sales and
marketing
 Conducting periodic review and updating of production plan on the basis of marketing (sales) feedback and revising sales
projection; monitoring of manufacturing of products to be scheduled on time as per specification
 Import of Raw material & Pkg. Material from foreign countries like India,China & Europe.
 CHA management for all import clearances

 Excise and custom documentation and timely issue resolutions

 Procuring the RM/PM material(Local supplier) required & issuing the same as per the needs so as to achieve production
targets in time;
 Exporting finished goods to other countries as per demand.
 Compliancde to all Excise/VAT and custom documentation and approval of the same in time.
 Freight management : Effective freight management so as to get minimum cost.
 All compliance with respect to country regulations for import and export.
 preparing budget and planning the procurement and sourcing of materials, ensuring optimum utilization of materials &
maximum cost savings
 Interacting with marketing team, R&D, QA and TPMs for new product development.
 Working on technology transfer of products from R&D to commercial production stage; adhering to timelines for the new
product launch
 Providing support to other functions like QA, R&D, packaging development

o Physical distribution of the material to the stock points, like movement of the material from manufacturing location to the
selling point
o Complete logistics functions within the budgeted costs & monitoring seamless execution of materials to the depot
 Following monthly average supply plan compliance to the demand plan from TPM more than 95% on YTD basis.
 New Initiative :-Developing an long term "Operating Plan" along with team members from other functions, departments.
Working on new ideas for cost reduction.
 Maintaining inventory at all locations.
 RPG life science :-
 Streamlined & improved the procedures & process capabilities for effective supply chain management; established contract
manufacturing department and led outsourcing of 100 new molecules in time so as to support marketing team and to get
quality product as well as developed 21 new P2P vendors (mfr.)
 Insightful knowledge of process analysis and design, application based process reengineering, process optimization, cost
control from various supply chain solutions
 Evaluated vendor performance, included on-time delivery, quality of goods /defects; successfully worked for outsourcing of
products for new division Nephro, Oncology, Hospital Division, Diabetic, Neuropsychiatry; achieved cost reduction by 10 to 15
% in transfer price and bagged delivery hit ratio against plan by 95-99 % and inventory control to 45 days
