A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER
Pinoy Devo formerly Hope in a Letter: Pinoy Devo started in November
29, 2018 when Morgan Harper Nichols, Founder of Her Binder Project —
a Los Angeles based online Christian Community approved my request to
start a Filipino based community of writers and artists to provide free
devotionals for Filipinos. This desire started when I joined Her Binder
Project in May 2015 where I wrote devotionals for women all over the
world. Now, this desire grows and in February 26, 2019, twelve (12)
Filipino volunteers joined the team from different parts of the country
and the world. It consists of writers, digital artists and photographers of
different genders and ages. It is my joy seeing creative people come
together to share Jesus to all Filipinos. Today, I pray that thousands of
Filipinos will join us to study each month.

Daily Verse: Matthew 4:19-20

Daily Devo: Nothing you do in this world will ever matter; your fame, your million
followers on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Youtube, your richness, nor your
title unless it is about loving God and seeking Him as well as loving the people He
had made, through making disciples.

God has given you the great commission found in Matthew 4:19-20, “Come, follow
me, Jesus said, and I will send you out to fish for people. At once they left their nets
and followed Him”.

The first and the most important step in following Jesus is to leave your nets

behind- your security, your comfort and all that you know, and follow Him. This is
also probably the hardest thing to do because let’s face it, no one is ever willing to
leave the luxuries they have over a higher being they’ve never seen with their very
own eyes. Second, when Jesus said “I will send you out to fish for people”, He wants
you to literally “fish for men”. To tell the world the good news and His near coming
(see Mark 1:15)

Making disciples is just one of the many things you can do to make Jesus viral on
earth. While it is the greatest, there are still other ways you can commit to if
preaching or leading a Bible study is not your forte. You can sing for Him, you can
write a blog or songs about Him, you can be an artist for Him. Whichever way it may
be, make sure that your intention is to always brag about His name and not yours.

He has given you unique talents and skills and He expects you to use them to lift His
name higher (see 1 Corinthians 12:5-6).

Do your part as a believer of Christ. Change your course of life now. Make Jesus
known in ways that you can. If not today, when?

Daily Verse: Luke 5:26
Daily Devo: Imagine walking the streets of Galilee, and
coming across a huge crowd. There was a Man who
apparently heals the sick. The blind can see, and the
lame can walk. He calms the mighty storms and
commands nature. He can even bring the dead back to
life! It might have been awesome to see these things
right before your eyes. You wish you'd seen it, so you
can believe. It's probably infinitely more awesome than
the visual effects of the greatest CGI-powered movie
you've seen.
But beloved, faith works the other way around (see John
11:40). When you take that leap, you would see all
these miracles and more. You'd see more than the
parting of the sea — you will walk on it. The very nature
of Christ is All-Powerful, and beyond comprehension.
But that's not the main reason to rejoice. All these
miracles are just bonuses from the real treasure He
gives — life everlasting (see Luke 10:20). It's something
this world can never give. It's the kind of life death will
not overcome. And it's free. But wait, there's more!
Your walk of faith in Christ does not only offer you a
front-row seat to these wonders and healing miracles.
You get to experience them! The things you never
thought possible would happen to you. And that's not a
trick.
Imagine that! Freedom, healing, redemption, salvation,
a family — all of these, He offers for free.
Jesus is the real deal. You only need to let Him in. And
once you do, before you realize it, you'd already have
proclaimed that He is indeed King — our Almighty God
of Miracles.

Daily Devo: Marahil maganda ang pagkakakilala sa’yo ng
mga taong nakapaligid sa’yo. Masasabi nila na mabait ka
at masaya kang kasama. But the question you should be
asking yourself is: How do people outside the church,
especially those who doesn't know you personally, can
see His light shine through you?
Mainam na nae-evaluate mo iyong sarili kung
napo-portray mo ba si Jesus at ang loving attitude Niya.
Nawa’y kapag nakikita ka ng mga tao, malulugod ang
Diyos dahil sa pagkilos mo at pagtrato mo sa kanila.
Hindi basehan ang mga likes at retweets mo sa social
media tungkol sa Kanya kung hindi mo ito isinasabuhay.
Ang gusto ni Lord ay maging ilaw ka ng mundo. Kung
paanong ipinakita Niya ang pagmamahal sa mga taong
wounded, sinners at marginalized, ganoon din ang iyong
character at pagmamahal na ipakita mo sa mundo. Sa
panahon ngayon mas marami na ang mapanghusga at
mahilig manira sa kapwa pero naiiba ka kapag kaya
mong magmahal at magpakita ng loving-kindness gaya
ni Jesus. Hindi ka namimili ng kung sinong pag-aalayan
mo nito.
Dalangin kong maging ilaw ka sa iba kahit ano pang
pagpigil ang ginagawa ng kaaway. Hinding hindi
mawawala ang sinag at sayang naidudulot nito sa mga
taong nasa paligid mo. Dahil ambassador ka, dala dala
mo ang kaligtasan at pagmamahal ng ating Panginoon.
Nawa’y maipamuhay mo nang maayos ang iyong
testimony na magiging tulay para makilala nila si Hesus.
As His second coming draws near, ang katagang ito ang
siya mong asamin, "Well done, my good and faithful
servant!"

Parang sa school, kapag sinasaway tayo na huwag
maingay ay mas lalo pa nating ginagawa pero kapag may
naglilista na ng “noisy”, saka lang tayo mananahimik.
Parang sa magbabarkada, dito nauso ang salitang
“drawing”. "Oo" palagi ang sagot mo, pero kapag actual
na ay hindi ka naman nagpupunta.

People need our influence and they need to see the light
of Christ shine through us. Pero paano ka
makakahikayat sa iba if ang mga itinuturo at ibinabahagi
mo ay taliwas sa ipinapakita mo? Paano mo sila
ie-encourage at ico-comfort if ikaw mismo ay
discouraged? Paano mo sila sasabihan na magpatuloy if
ikaw mismo sa kaunting problema ay sumusuko? How
can we make Jesus viral if sa atin mismo ay hindi
nakikita na may Jesus tayo?
Make Jesus known hindi lang sa pangalan kundi sa kung
paano Niya tayo tina-transform — from nothing to
something and from ordinary to extraordinary. Kung
paano ka Niya pinapatibay sa kabila ng mga hirap na
dinaranas mo. Kung paanong ang dating malungkutin ay
naging masiyahin. Iyong dating walang pag-asa sa buhay
ay nagkaroon ng pag-asa. Iyong dating gusto nang
sumuko ay patuloy pa ring lumalaban. Iyong dating
madilim ang buhay ay nagkaroon ng kulay. Kung paano
ka Niya binago at patuloy na binabago.
You don't need to be famous to make Jesus famous.
Just live a salty life and let your light shine.

Daily Devo: Kahit saang social media platform, makikita
mo ang napakaraming nauuso at sumisikat ngayon.
Makikita mo ang mga viral na pictures o memes, mga
sikat na vloggers, mga nakakatawang videos, mga
kalokohan at mga inspiring na kwento. Kung ikaw ang
tatanungin, sinong tao o anong bagay o pangyayari ang
gusto mong sumikat? Balikan natin ang kwento ni
Stephen sa bible. Walang nakasaad tungkol sa personal
na buhay ni Stephen — kung sino ang magulang niya,
sino ang mga kapatid niya, o may asawa't anak ba siya.
Pero ang pagpapakilala sa kanya ang pinakaimportante
— tapat siya sa kanyang paglilingkod kahit na kinaharap
niya ang kamatayan. Hanggang sa huling sandali ng
kanyang buhay, patuloy pa rin siyang nagbahagi sa salita
ng Diyos.
Kapatid, hindi mo alam kung hanggang kailan ka dito sa
mundo. Pero pwede mong gawing makabuluhan ang
pamamalagi mo dito sa lupa sa pamamagitan ng
pagbabahagi ng salita ng Diyos. Sa simpleng pagse-share
mo nito sa iyong pamilya, kaibigan, kaklase o katrabaho,
hindi mo namamalayan na nagbibigay pala ito ng impact
sa buhay nila. Sa simpleng pag-post mo ng mga bible
verses or encouraging words sa iyong social media, hindi
mo alam na may tao pala na nakakabasa nito na
kailangan ang mga salitang iyon. Patuloy mo lang
ipalaganap ang salita Niya dahil marami pang tao ang
kailangang makarinig at makabasa nito. Hindi kailangang
malaman ng ibang tao ang lahat ng tungkol sa personal
na buhay mo. Ang mahalaga ay makita nila mismo sa’yo
kung ano ang ginawa at patuloy na ginagawa ng Diyos sa
buhay mo.
Kung meron man tayong papasikatin ngayon, si Hesus
iyon at ang salita Niya.

Daily Devo: Nagkaroon ka na ba ng crush o naranasan
mo na bang kiligin dahil pinansin ka ng crush mo? Yung
tipong excited ka pang magkukwento sa mga kaibigan
mo o minsan ise-shashare mo pa sa social media.
May mga bagay na madaling i-share sa ibang tao na
kahit minsa'y wala itong kabuluhan. Walang masama sa
mga bagay na iyan, walang masama sa pag-appreciate
ng effort ng isang tao.
Pero kapatid, I want to ask you: “When was the last
time na nai-share mo ang goodness and love ni Lord sa
buhay mo?”

Daily Devo: In a world where materialism, fame, and
worldly gain matters more than anything else, it is not
uncommon that you tend to compare yourself with
others or others with yourself.
In a world where the worth of a person is based on
titles, labels, and status, others are becoming left out.
Even you, are not an exception.
It means that if you have nothing to prove, then you are

nothing in the eyes of the world.
But for Jesus, all are equal. No one's inferior or superior.
We are all God's children.
If you are solely focused on Jesus instead of what the
world wants, then you boast nothing but Him.
Because Jesus alone is enough. We do not need
anything else apart from Him.

Daily Devo: “Wag pundi.”

A statement from Chi Alpha Philippines’ shirt captured my attention which means
“busted light” or in other words, “not to be a broken light” to others. It is an
organization for students and young professionals whose mission is to share Christ
in their campus and workplace. Sure, it is a light to the community.

We often tell adults to set an example to young people but how would these
students from universities do so if they are too young and inexperienced? If they
are also struggling with academics? Or how would you be able to set an example to

your co-workers if you, too are compromising your faith? If you, too have problems
in giving your ten percent to God because of financial difficulties? If you, too are
secretly struggling with porn? Or if you are also addicted to online shopping and
mobile games that lead to neglecting other responsibilities?

You started to doubt yourself that maybe some of them will not listen while others
will highlight your flaws. Or maybe those people are talking about you behind your
back and questioning your faith. Whatever it is that bothers you, choose to be the
light in your home, campus and workplace. Do what is right and oppose what is
wrong with grace and love. Choose to shine for them. Maybe you are the light that
they are looking for. Be the light that gives hope to those people who are still in
darkness — lost and without an exact destination.

There maybe days that your light will flicker but choose not to give up on them. And
please, do not give up on yourself, too. And if you feel like sooner or later your light
will dim, reconnect to the everlasting Light.

Daily Verse: Matthew 5:14
Daily Devo: You are living in a society where it is easier
to speak your hearts out and valiantly talk about
anything whenever Facebook asks “what’s on your
mind?”. Throwing hatred to one another becomes a
leisure. Having multiple relationships become a norm.
Relationship status becomes a fulfillment while
relationship issues and family matters taken to social
media become a form of entertainment. Photos of
achievements posted in your feed become a standard of
success. Having suicidal feelings become a trend. Mental
illness becomes infectious.
How will you see the light if all you are seeing now are
hatred, illness, injustice — a total darkness.
Worry not, love. There is still hope even in darkness.
That only hope which brings light is Christ because He
himself is the light and whoever follows Him will never
walk in darkness (see John 8:12). Throw hope instead of
hate. And as followers of Christ, may you always be
reminded that you are also the light to your family,
workplace, campus, community, and other people
around you who are still lost in the dark.
Maybe God is whispering names in your heart right now
whom He wants you to share the light that you have.
And if you are still looking for a sign, this is the sign that
you’ve been waiting for. Start praying and reaching the
lost and let Him do the work. Let Him cure all their pains
and sorrows. Let's infect others with the love of Christ.

Daily Devo: There are so many prominent names that
are circulating social media nowadays. From celebrities
to vloggers, the name of these influencers truly earned
spots in the hearts and well, news feeds of people. It is
so easy to tap and share their words and videos and
very tempting to spend time following their
whereabouts and knowhows.
Though it may be true that these people can inspire and
make the public be more engaged in certain topics and
issues, spending more time following them can be also
deemed as misleading.
This is a reminder that not every shiny thing you see can
be considered as a treasure and not every word that
comes from the mouths of famous people can be
healthy. Today, make time to pause and filter what you
choose to see and hear.
It is important to spend more time studying the word of
God and knowing Jesus more than giving your energy
and time to personalities that can never satisfy the
longing of the soul. It’s not wrong to admire people, but
when you invest more time with them than with Jesus,
you can later on find yourself on a sure road to ruin.
Don’t be distracted. Search for Jesus, the name above all
names. For He deserves the top spot in your search list.
For Jesus’ words are more than just a trend, it is timely
not only for a month or a year. Unlike your faves, Jesus
is the figure that will never go out of style, He sets the
bar high. More than viral, He is eternal. And nothing,
above or below, can ever come close to His glory.

fingers. There are many contents that instantly become
famous. Some posts are informative and encouraging
while some are just funny. The people who own viral
videos/posts surely posted so many things before they
finally got their break.
Have you encouraged someone?
Ever tried to uplift someone?
Correct someone?

Have you ever shared Jesus?
..then neglected God?
These words are for you. Sometimes the biggest break
in your spiritual lives do not happen in an instant. It is
not love-Him-now-then-love-the-whole-world-later.
Many times, which is normal, you will get neglected. You
might have felt disappointed because things didn’t
happen the way it was planned but take heart, God's got
you!
Making Jesus viral is actually a series of your own ups
and downs and how you will show the world the
salvation you have been given. How you live your life
shows Jesus in you— the way you get through everyday
and how you love others is the best way to shine the
brightest light in you that is Jesus.
Keep going, sweetheart. Do not stop doing what God
wants you to do. Seasons may come and dry your heart
but always remember that He who began a good work
in you will take it to completion.

Daily Verse: Mark 5:30
Daily Devo: In the New Testament, you can read about
Jesus on His way to heal Jairus’ daughter who is dying. A
sea of people followed Jesus and as the scriptures say,
they were pushing very close around Him. As they cut
through the crowd, a woman who has been bleeding for
12 years pushed her way to Jesus and touched the hem
of His garment. And in that moment she encountered
His divine healing. Jesus felt the power coming out from
His backside so He stopped. He was on His way to a
dying girl with a frantic father on His side probably
telling Him to move faster and yet what did He do? He
stopped and turned around. He asked the crowd, “Who
touched me?”. By this time Jairus must have gone crazy.
Imagine him saying “Lord, what are you doing? My
daughter is dying and yet here you are more concerned
about who touched you? Lord! Everyone is touching you
here! Can’t you see this crowd?” You see, even with
death lurking, Jesus was never pressured. Even in His
busy schedule, He was never in a rush. Jesus had the
time to stop and turn around. He has time to find and
seek the face of those who believe in Him. He has time
to bless even those who are undeserving of His time.
Jesus was never in a hurry, He is always at rest even in a
chaotic crowd. His face was calm and He was smiling
when He found the woman. That is a clear picture and
perspective of Jesus’ face. And He wants you to stop as
well. He wants you to find a place of rest even in your
busy day. He doesn’t want you to feel hurried. You
might feel pressured, helpless, and overwhelmed at this
exact moment but take time to breathe. Find time to
bring yourself to that exact moment where Jesus
stopped and turned around for you.
He is calm and smiling. You should be, too.

Daily Verse: Romans 3:23
Daily Devo: When life feels overwhelming, kanino ka
humihingi ng saklolo? Do you call Him desperately when
it only benefits you? Kapag nasa alanganing sitwasyon
ka lang ba? Or is it through both joy and sadness that
you still wholly worship Him?
Oftentimes, we cry out loud kay Lord kapag hindi na
natin kaya. Imbes na lagi Siyang nauuna, kadalasan
nagiging last resort pa natin Siya. And then, doon lang
natin marerealize na hindi tayo karapat-dapat sa
pagmamahal na kusa niyang ipinaparamdam. We feel so
guilty and instead of asking for His forgiveness, we
choose not to do anything. Kumbaga dahil sa hiya, hindi
natin magawang magpakumbaba.
But beloved, the Lord is just to forgive. Hahakbang ka
palang, alam na Niya ang mangyayari. Magkamali ka
man, laging nakaabang iyong mga kamay niya para
tumulong. He’s spreading His arms wide open for you.
Gusto Niyang sabihin na you’re not alone. You are
always welcome to bask in His presence. Dahil Siya ang
tunay na kapahingahan at kapayapaan.
May you never forget how He loved you first — Jesus
died on the cross just for you to be saved.

pagpapahayag mo ng salita Niya? Kapatid, madaming
pagkakataon ang ibinigay sa’yo ng Panginoon para
ipahayag ang kanyang magandang mensahe. Pero
nagampanan mo ba ito? Nasunod mo ba ang gusto
Niya?
Inaalala mo ang sasabihin ng iba pero hindi mo inisip

sinunod ang utos Niya. Huwag mong ikahiya ang

Madaming tao ang nangangailangan ng salita Niya sa
kanilang buhay. God seeks the lost at ikaw ang inatasan
ng Panginoon na ipahayag ang Kanyang salita. Huwag
mong ipagkait sa iba ang kaligtasan na ibinigay Niya.
Hayaan mong maranasan ng iba ang walang katumbas
na pagmamahal na naranasan mo mula sa Kanya.
Ipahayag mo sa mundo ang katotohanan. Dahil Siya lang
ang makakaligtas sa mga taong iyong ipinahayagan ng
Kanyang salita. Huwag mong isipin ang sasabihin ng iba.
Hayaan mong ipersecute ka nila. Dahil diyan ka
tumitibay sa iyong pananampalataya.
You must tell the world that Jesus is alive. Patatagin mo
ang iyong pananampalataya at huwag mong pairalin ang
takot na iyong nararamdaman.

Daily Verse: John 4:39

Daily Devo: The Samaritan woman had five husbands and was living with another
man who is not her husband. Not a way to start your devotion isn’t it. In those days,
Jews have no business with Samaritans because they were considered unclean
because of their ancestors. Nonetheless, Jesus chose to have a conversation with
this woman. He told her what her current situation is and, despite of it, offered her
living water (see John 4:1-42).

Three things. First, Jesus knows every sin you commit. He knows the judgments in
your head, the hidden agenda of your actions, and the darkest secret you have
hidden in your heart. This could be scary, isn’t it. But the second fact is that, He is

compassionate, forgiving, and loving towards you. He doesn’t condemn but He
gives you solution to fix the problem. He gives you grace to eradicate sin and His
love sheds light into the darkest part of your heart, gradually making a change
within. He is your living water that makes you alive.

Third thing is that you can boldly proclaim Jesus’ love because of the change that He
did in you. The pivotal, crucial moment in your life where Jesus just filled every
emptiness is the power of the gospel unto salvation, which makes you unashamed
to just go out there and tell everyone what Jesus did (see Romans 1:16).

Just like the Samaritan woman who passionately declared to everyone who Jesus is
and what He has done, even exposing her sin, you could also do the same. With no
guilt and shame, your testimony could also be a game changer to those around you
and help them believe in Jesus, too.

Daily Verse: Luke 6:45
Daily Devo: I’ve recently became a fan of basketball and
whenever the team I’m cheering for, UPMBT, wins, I
can’t help but share the good news on Twitter,
Facebook, and Instagram. Maybe you also have that one
thing you love to share about, the new movie you’ve
seen, the great food you’ve tasted, or the things you’re
just passionate about. Because it overflows from your
heart, you can’t help but spread the good news. “For
out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.”
In the same way, you can passionately speak, not only
verbally but also evidently through your actions, about
Jesus if He abounds in your heart. It happens if you
deeply root yourself in His word (see John 15:5) to bear
the fruit of the Holy Spirit (see Galatians 5:22), and to
continually think and meditate about excellent and
honorable things that God has done (see Philippians
4:8-9).
By staying in the presence of Jesus and experiencing His
works and wonders in your life, you will be compelled to
share and show Jesus by loving, showing peace, sharing
joy, having humility, being kind, faithful, gentle, and
having restraint in every situation. As one who is created
in the image of God, you are also to show and reflect
that godly image to others. And by that, people will see
how good and loving your God is, and that will push
them to know Christ and receive His love.

Daily Verse: Matthew 28:19-20
Daily devo: Gaano kahalaga sa’yo ang pagsunod sa great
commission? Nabibigyan mo ba ito ng focus sa buhay
mo? Kailan ka ulit nag-evangelize sa iba? Kailan ka ulit
nagkaroon ng disciple na inilapit kay Kristo?
Ang evangelism ay hindi lang gawain ni Pastor o ng kung
sino mang workers or leaders sa inyong local church.
Inatasan ka rin ng Panginoon para ipahayag ang Kanyang
mga salita. Huwag ka lang magfocus sa iyong sariling
paglago. Isipin mo rin ang iba na hindi pa nakakakilala
kay Kristo. Kailangan din nila ng tagapagligtas.
Magpagamit ka sa Panginoon at hayaan mong ikaw ang
maging instrumento. Maaaring may nakalaan na
makilala ang Panginoon sa pamamagitan ng
pagpapahayag mo sa kanila. Paano na lang kapag hindi
ka nagpapahayag ng salita ng Diyos? Ano kaya ang
kakahantungan nila?
Huwag mong sayangin ang oras na malakas ka at kaya
mo pa. Go and make disciples.

Daily Verse: Luke 17:11-15
Daily Devo: Have you ever experienced a situation when
you excitedly share a movie which moved you because
of its beautiful plot? Or have you savoringly shared a
certain food hub and even promote it everywhere with
joy and shouting? The same thing happened to this
leper who came to praise with shouting and declaring
the miracle he experienced from Jesus. Although initially
10 of them have experienced the miracle-working
power of God yet only he came back and let everyone
know who did it to him. Isn't it amazing to see that one

person can truly expose Jesus in his life when the
encounter is real? That someone can be moved if there
is a vital transformation through His grace and power?
To have this kind of mindset, to not let a story end
within oneself but to proclaim it to everyone. For when
the power of a testimony runs down from one person to
another, there is a viral redemption. Jesus’ ability to
change people's lives, to heal and restore, will become
radical only if one saved soul can go out shouting this
kind of beautiful story. Truly, you can't share things you
do not have. But if you know that you have it, there is a
need to check your heart as to why you're keeping the
good news to yourself. When was the last time you told
your friends that He alone can give them a new
beginning? How about your family, have you ever told
them that His love and forgiveness awaits them and it
only takes total surrender to see His loving hands
reaching out to them?
When was the last time you became proud of who Jesus
is in your life? I hope that you will stand up for your faith
and share the beautiful stories of yours. You not only
need to be interesting. You also need to become
intentional.

day you were born and the day you find out why."
Ang mga salitang ito ay tumatak sa aking isip matapos
ko itong makita sa isang billboard malapit sa EDSA.
Ibang klase talaga si Lord, sa tuwing kailangan mo ng
encouragement, lagi Siyang nandiyan para paalalahanan
tayo. Minsan, naitanong mo na din ba sa sarili mo kung
bakit nga ba ikaw nabubuhay? Bakit nga ba ikaw
naligtas? Ano bang purpose mo dito sa mundo? When
was the last time na you asked yourself: “Am I really
doing God's will?”
Sa buhay ng isang tao na naglilingkod kay Lord, madalas
hindi ito madali dahil pinipili nating gawin ang pansarili
nating kagustuhan. Nakakaligtaan natin na God knows
what He is doing. Kahit noong nasa loob pa lamang tayo
ng sinapupunan ng ating ina ay kilala na Niya tayo. Kung
kaya’t the satisfaction we settled for creates a void
needed to be filled.
In Matthew 28:19-20, makikita natin na ang isa sa mga
dapat nating gawin after maligtas ay "Go and make
disciples.” This is a command of God that we must obey.
May mga taong nakakasalubong natin sa daan na hindi
natin inaasahan na makikita natin, maaring kaklase mo
noong high school, o hindi kaya’y bestfriend mo dati, o
marahil mga kababata na matagal mo nang hindi
nakikita. Why don’t you start sharing them God’s word?
Or would you just let them pass by and make small
conversations instead?
God called you for a reason. Let us make Him viral by
sharing His stories to other people.

Daily Verse: Psalm 30:5
Daily Devo: Sometimes it’s easier to focus on your own
pain and not mind the people around you who are also
struggling. Thus, you become bitter and unhappy. You
tend to feed your own emotions with ugly feelings.
Life is really difficult when you focus on the negative
things as you hustle your way through the day. Your
mind’s preoccupied with a lot of things — may it be your
job, school or family that makes you overthink
everything. There’s no room for peace and rest to take
place because the stress level you’re in has been
dragging you down. The encouragement you badly need
for yourself is being given to your loved ones and yet
you weren’t given back the same thing. You felt
demotivated and even breathing felt suffocating.
But alas, God wants you to remember that Jesus has
already paved the way. You don’t need to worry
because He has said, “I got you, my child. What you’re
feeling is only temporary and it won’t last. I will never
leave you nor forsake you. You just need to trust Me.
My plans are for you to prosper and not to harm you.
My promises are true and I will make them happen at
the right time.”
Try to see the brighter side of things: The sun is such a
pretty sight to behold when it rises, just as much when it
sets.
Let Light comes in as you go along and say hello to
tomorrows and new beginnings.

when He answers your prayers but do the same when
He hasn’t. Always proclaim how great He is in your life
and tell the whole world all the wonderful things He has
done.

Daily Devo: "Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the fairest
of them all?" Isa iyan sa sikat na tagline sa isang Disney
movie.
Hindi mawawala sa isang bahay ang salamin.
Pagkagising sa umaga, isa sa kinaugalian mo na ang
tumingin dito at pagmasdan ang iyong sarili. At bago ka
lumabas ng inyong bahay titingin ka muna nang
paulit-ulit upang makasiguradong walang dumi na
makikita sa iyong mukha.
Gusto kong malaman mo na Ikaw ay salamin din ng
Diyos dito sa mundo. Maraming tao ang nakatingin
sa'yo, ngunit ano nga ba ang nakikita nila sa tuwing
haharap sila sa salamin ng iyong buhay? Puno ba ito ng
pag-ibig ng Diyos? O puno ng puot at galit?
Masarap pag masdan ang isang buhay na isinuko sa
Panginoon. Ang buhay na punong puno ng pag-ibig kahit
sa kabila ng pinagdadaanan ay patuloy na naglilingkod.
Isang salamin para sa susunod na henerasyon na kapag
kanilang pinagmasdan ay wala silang ibang makikita
kundi biyaya at pag-ibig ng Panginoon. Isang salamin ng
buhay na si Jesus lang ang makikita at magbibigay sa
kanila ng apoy upang mas kilalanin ang Diyos.
Isang salamin ng buhay na katulad ng buhay mo, na may
mabigat mang pagsubok ay mas pipiliing maglingkod,
magpuri at magpatuloy. Kaya huwag kang susuko,
inspirasyon ka sa madaming hinuhulmang salamin ng
buhay.
Hayaan mong maging bida at makita ang Panginoon sa
buhay mong Siya naman ang may akda.

Daily Devo: Have you ever felt anxious and sad seeing
the number of your followers on Instagram and Twitter
have lessen? Bakit nila ako inunfollow? May natweet ba
akong mali? Hindi ba catchy ang post ko? Hindi ba
witty? Bakit sila madaming followers? Paano maging
influencer? Bakit ganito? Bakit ganyan?
But the real question is: Who are you pleasing? Si Lord
ba o ang mga followers mo? May mga naaabot ka ba
para sa Kanya?
In Matthew 9:9 it was written, "As Jesus went on from
there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax
collector’s booth. “Follow me,” He told him, and
Matthew got up and followed Him."
Tinawag at sumunod — ganoon lang kasimple ang
pagtawag kay Mateo pero hanggang sa panahon
ngayon ay binabasa pa ang kanyang kwento.
God has called us to tell the world about Him maging
sino ka man o anuman ang iyong ginagawa. Hindi ka
dapat maging maimpluwensiya para maging isang
impluwensya. Gets mo? Kung sino ka man ngayon sa
harapan ng Diyos, iyan ang tatawagin Niya. Alam mo
kung anong requirement? He just wants you to be
willing and available.
Hindi man ngayon ang panahon pero balang araw all
your hard work for the Lord's kingdom will be rewarded.
Do not stop and continue praising God with your life.

Daily Devo: If you have to answer this question, what
kind of story will your life tell the world? Maybe for
many times you have been hearing these common
statements around. There will be no headlines for news
if no one covers a certain story to become a hot topic.
Every story of people has its connection with someone
to get motivated or discouraged. When Albert Einstein
said, “In every difficulty lies an opportunity”, to which
every innocence, sickness is a platform of a miracle
worker and before he thought about this, someone

from the past had done it. Someone from Jesus’
listeners or one being healed might have shared it. He
become known because of such testimonies. True
enough you came to know this great love, too. You
received in full.
Listen to this my beloved, the challenge is how you will
make Jesus known through the life you have. You don't
need to become the most intelligent and the boldest to
proclaim your faith. You don't need to be on top of the
world to become sold out. There’s no need to become
the most famous person in society. By living a life fully
anchored to Him is an open and a real life bible story
that any person can read. A soul who truly accepted
Jesus is a life that will experience overlapping joy and
have it also taste by others. You can only make Jesus
known by living like His child who is proud of His Father
and not like someone who still live as a wanderer,
fragmented and behaves like he had never been saved
before. If one has no genuine desire with this, here’s a
question for you to ponder, “Is Jesus real to you?”
Unbox Jesus and let Him shine through you.

kanyang nais ang puso. Hindi masama ang mangarap,
sabi nga nila libre lang ito kaya taasan mo na. Ngunit,
ang mga pinapangarap mo ba sa ngayon ay ang
pangarap ng Diyos para sa iyo? Kasama pa ba ang Diyos
sa mga pangarap na gusto mong makamit? O minsan,
nakakalimutan mo na ang Diyos dahil sa pagkamit ng
iyong mga pangarap?
Minsan akala mo ay hindi mo na mapagtatagumpayan
ang mga pagsubok na patuloy mong kinakaharap sa
kasalukuyan. Ngunit huwag kang makalimot na
kumikilos ang Diyos sa buhay mo. May mga pangarap at
panalangin ka na hindi niya papahintulutan hindi sa
kadahilanang gusto Ka niyang saktan at pahirapan kundi
dahil alam Niya kung ano ang makakabuti para sa’yo.
Patuloy mong hanapin at naisin ang kalooban ng Diyos
para sa iyo. Nawa sa pagtupad ng iyong mga pangarap
ay makikita ng sanlibutan ang biyaya at kabutihan Niya.
Kaya hayaan mong kumilos ang Diyos sa buhay mo.
Pangarapin mong maging tunay na patotoo sa mga
kabataan na walang talo ang pagsunod sa Diyos.
Pangarapin mong makita ang Diyos sa buhay mo.
Pangarapin mo ang pangarap ng Diyos para sa’yo.

Daily Verse: Matthew 5:13-16
Daily Devo: Imagine our world without salt and light.
What do you think the world would be like?
A world without light is terrifying and a world without
salt is dull. As Rich Mullins quoted, "Faith without works
is like a song you can't sing" just like the Salt and Light.
These are two essential things for human well-being.
Why? It's because everyone is called according to God's
purpose (see Romans 8:28). You are called to be the salt
and light of the world. Everyone needs a realization that
all of us has an urgent calling. The world is getting
darker, gloomier and lonelier.
Let Jesus shine through you, your words and deeds. Help
others see and discover that there's something better in
this life and that is having a personal relationship and
encounter with Jesus. There's still a brighter path to
take that is full of grace, love, hope and compassion.
You can add light to darkness but never add darkness to
light. Jesus is the light and you can help others by
pointing the way to Him through your words and deeds.
Make Jesus Viral!

Daily Verse: 1 John 1:5-9
Daily Devo: Nasubukan mo na bang maglakad sa isang
madilim na lugar na pinapalibutan ng mga puno kasabay
ng malakas na hangin? At pakiramdam mo may
nakatingin sa’yo at parang sinusundan ka? Nakakatakot
hindi ba? Dito natin makikita kung gaano kahalaga ang
ilaw. Noong bata ka pa lamang, marahil nasubukan mo
na ring ipatay sindi ang ilaw ng refrigerator niyo at
nagtataka ka kung bakit namamatay ito kapag isinasara.
Ang ilaw ang isa sa mga bagay na kailangan natin sa

buhay. Imagine life without light. In 1 John 1:5, ipinakita
kung paanong ang Diyos ay liwanag at kailanma’y
walang kadiliman sa Kanya. Tayo ay parang mga sisidlan
ng ilaw. We are Christ's ambassador. Ang mukha ng
Diyos ang nawa’y makita sa atin. At marahil may
nakapagsabi sa iyo na you’re blooming and you just
certainly know why; it is because of God's grace within
you.
So whatever’s bothering you, pat yourself and say “Hey
problem, I have a big God." And let people see Jesus in
you as you walk on the path towards Him.

Daily Verse: Hebrews 10:24-25

Daily Devo: “I see Jesus in you” is probably one of the sweetest words and most
rewarding accomplishment a follower of Christ aspire to hear one day. Have you
ever been an inspiration to anyone? Were you able to inspire other people with
your stories full of blessings and victories? Were you able to show people that hope
is still there? That Jesus is real? That His words are alive through the Holy Spirit?

To make Jesus known is to advance His kingdom which means you are to win
wandering souls or to tell people stories of Jesus’ intervention to your life’s
challenges.

In Hebrews 10:24-25, Paul told you the kind of love you have to give to others. How
to motivate each other, to encourage and even more so to use your stories of faith
to them. If your family members, friends and church-mates face countless trials
your initial response is to pray for them or to intercede for them in prayer. As a
follower of Christ you ought to pray for your brothers and sisters everyday.

Not only that, Jesus is also evident in your life if you care for them the Jesus way. If
you live out the things you’ve learned from Jesus and apply them in your life. If you
love them in a forgiving way, not counting any records of bad things they did to you
in the past but loving them as if they never hurt you. You might think that reaching
out to people and asking them if they are okay or not are useless but hey
sometimes it’s what people solely need. Helping them when they need you may it
be a moral support or a financial help is also loving like Jesus. Lifting their spirit up
whenever they are feeling down and couldn’t bring themselves to face situations
they are afraid of is also showing the Jesus in you. Being with them when they need
a tangible support or speaking life through them is being Jesus.

Do not belittle the small of acts you do for other people. Sometimes what is unseen
to you is visible to others. Live a spirit-filled life so that whenever people see you
they will see Jesus in you.

Daily Verse: Acts 1:8
Daily devo: Do you have a testimony to share? Has God
done anything or something for you within these past
few months, weeks or days? Then, that is a great
opportunity to make Jesus famous!
How can everyone declare God and make Him known?
The starting point is to make Him known right where
you live or in your home. As what He told His disciples,
"tell people about me in Jerusalem, throughout Judea,
in Samaria and to the ends of the earth". Jesus didn't tell
them to go the ends of the earth first then go back to
Jerusalem, where they live. Start sharing God in your
home or community first and then go evangelize unto
the ends of the earth. Serve and love. If you want to
make Him known, you must learn how to serve and love
others even if it's always not easy. Always remember
that it's not about you, it's about Jesus! With this kind of
deed, people would know that God also cares for them.
As what John Maxwell said, "People don't care how
much you know until they know how much you care."
Talk about Jesus. Talk about what He has done in your
life! Talk about how God healed you from your broken
past. Talk about how God restored broken relationships.
Talk about how God sustains your needs even if you
almost went to the point of hopelessness. Talk about
how you’ve found a true friend in Jesus. Talk about how
He saved you, redeemed you and loved you. Make Him
known through your service and love; by declaring God's
goodness in your life.

Daily Devo: Huling araw na ng 2019. Mamaya lang,
sasalubungin na natin ang unang araw ng 2020.
Napakabilis at napakarami na ang mga nangyari sa taong
ito. Anu-ano ba ang mga nauso? Sinu-sino ang mga
sinubaybayan natin sa social media? Sinu-sino at
anu-ano sa mga ginagawa nila ang ginaya rin natin?
Sa bawat araw, may mga bagong ganap na bigla na lang
nagiging viral. Sa patuloy nating pag-scroll sa Facebook,

Instagram or Twitter, nakakaengganyo na gayahin natin
ang mga ito at subukan na maging gaya rin nila without
understanding and knowing it’s effect to us. Sa panahon
natin ngayon, kung sinong sikat ang social status, iyon
ang nagiging standards natin – tama man o mali. We try
to fit ourselves on things that doesn’t suit us. Feeling
natin, kailangan nating gawin ito kasi ito ang uso
ngayon. ‘Pag hindi mo ito ginawa, aayawan ka na ng
mga friends mo or even the world. Kaya ang effect,
naco-confused tayo kung sino tayo. Kung nararanasan
mo ito, let me encourage you thru His words.
Sabi sa 1 Peter 2:9, tayo ay pinili ng Diyos to proclaim
excellent things – mga bagay na higit sa trending dito sa
mundo. Sabi rin sa Ephesians 2:10, tayo ay Kanyang
nilikha para gumawa ng mabubuting bagay. From these,
we could learn that we are intended to make the
difference. Hindi natin kailangan sabayan ang uso para
maging “in”. God gave you a unique personality that no
one can snatch from you! Kung ngayon, hindi mo (na)
kilala kung sino ka o nakikigaya ka (na) lang sa uso,
remember that God called you for greater things. You
just need to know and believe in.
Sa pagpasok ng 2020, you can make a difference. You
can be the difference maker!
