Monthly Verse:
“Binigay ko yung best ko sa laban, nakarating ako sa finish line, at nanatili akong
tapat sa faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7 NT Pinoy Version

Monthly Theme:
Mananagumpay

"I am tired"

Is what you always tell yourself when things go wrong

when there's no way out
or when you are in the verge of giving up

"Broken relationships"
"Poverty"
"Loneliness"
"Belittlement"
"Spiritual instability"

These are nothing when you fight a good fight and have faith in God.

Claim the truth that...

You are more than a conqueror
You are an heir to grace
And you will make it to the finish line victoriously!

Ikaw ay mananagumpay!

May these letters filled with hope from God through Christ Jesus fill the ends of
the earth and reach wandering souls.

Daily Verse: Matthew 25:21

Daily Devo: You've accepted Jesus as your Savior and have

committed your life to serving Him. You love your ministry, but
sometimes, you get tired.

MANANAGUMPAY
And it's alright, beloved. Jesus understands how tiring ministry
work can be. But He also said, we can find rest and nourishment
in Him.

In fact, His words are meant to encourage and remind you. That
despite the bad, you can find good, and the pains you go through
won't compare to the glory He gives after. But for now, find
peace and renewal in Him.

And remember, beloved: Victors don't let their guards down

after a victory. They keep vigilant, they keep watch. Same thing
with you. God has won over your life, when you surrendered to

MARCH 2020
Him. But that's just the first step.

As He said, we must always be vigilant and watch over each

other, so the enemy won't get to snatch us away.

Keep reading His word, beloved. Keep praying. Keep serving.

Remember that nothing is wasted. God keeps count of your tears
and sacrifices. Nourish your ministry, and let Him nourish you in
return. It's a blessing from the Lord. God has entrusted you with
this much, because He trusts you this much. Just hold on to His
promises, that He will be with you through it all.

And one day, everything you did for Him will be rewarded. You
will be filled with overwhelming joy as He says, "Well done, good
and faithful servant!"

Trust that you already are victorious. God has redeemed you and
called you for a purpose. Serve with a grateful and humble heart.
And always stay faithful to the One who gave you victory.

Daily Verse: Psalm 89:1-52

Daily Devo: Maybe you’re wondering why God is so faithful to

you despite of your unfaithfulness to Him. Why God is so
merciful? Why God is so loving? These are the questions in your

MANANAGUMPAY
mind that needed answers. And the answer is quite
simple—because the steadfast love of the Lord is in you. Are you
not guilty of what is happening between God and you? God loves
you so much even when you can’t love Him with the same kind
of intensity. God is faithful even when you are not. But where is
your love for God?

Put yourself in a situation where you love a person very much

that you want to give him everything just to win his heart. Then
you found out that he is not into you. What would you feel? You
would be disappointed, right? And you won’t give up until you
have him. In the same way, God will never give up on you until
He gets your heart. He loves you so much. He gets sad when you

MARCH 2020
give Him disappointment but still, He will never give you up. And
so you must not also give up when God calls you for a purpose.

God wants you to stand firm in Him. God wants you to have a
relationship with Him. He wants you to be the person who will
proclaim His goodness to the world and will sing about the
steadfast love of the Lord. Keep that steadfast love forever.

God's grace is sufficient. Walang hindi kayang abutin ang grace ni

Daily Verse: 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

Daily Devo: Paul is one of the greatest men the Bible has ever
introduced to us. From being a persecutor of the church to being
a preacher of the gospel he once opposed, He was God's proof

MANANAGUMPAY
that no heart is too hard when He moves. Yet here, you can see
him as someone who seemingly has struggles too, just like how
you're facing your battles today.

It was really more than that because God looks in
the very depth of your hearts.

What would you do when adversities come? Will you ask Him to
take it away just like what Paul did, or will you ask Him to give
you grace sufficient enough so that you can face it all?

MARCH 2020
Bilang Ama, tinuturuan,
pinapalo, hinuhulma at binabasag ka Niya so you'll never be the
same.

It's so hard to be strong when days are rough, but it takes a

courageous heart to trust Him even at these trying times. The
Bible said you should consider it pure joy when you face trials of
any kind, and may you really do so. Hindi man magiging madali

MARCH 2020
Ngunit nagkakamali ka, kapatid. Lahat ng pagsubok sa buhay mo
ay kasama mo Siya. During your darkest days, He gave you the
light but you chose to ignore it and still blame Him. Open your
eyes and heart and have faith in Him again. Hindi pa huli ang
lahat.

Sunday, March 8
Daily Verse: Hebrews 12:1

Daily Devo: “Let us run the race.” Just the thought of running the
race is already exhausting, and most of the time we would rather
not run the race. For the first few minutes of the race, you have

MANANAGUMPAY
so much determination in your heart to finish it. Because you
know that once you cross the finish line, you will be receiving a
great reward— all the hard work will pay off!

The path towards success is not a straight-paved road, it is filled

with challenges. You will face bumpy and rocky roads, sometimes
causing you to fall off. And at some point you will feel pain and
weakness, causing you to think of giving up. It’s easy to run the
race when your path is paved and clear, but when the path gets
difficult, you start to doubt and get discouraged. Remember, we
are not meant to give up, but we are meant to endure.

The course of life is tiring, and you can choose to rest whenever

MARCH 2020
you get tired. What matters is, you never stop moving forward.
Continuing the race set before you does not mean you have to
keep running, but you must keep moving forward. Always
remember that God has set different paths for each and every
one of us. God never promised a challenge-free life, but He
promised to be with you in every step of the way (see Joshua
1:9).

No matter how scary and endless the path may seem, we are
never alone. He is waiting for you at the finish line, to give your
reward for enduring the race and putting up a good fight of faith
(see 1 Timothy 6:12). Run the race with confidence because He
knows you can finish it.

Takbo.

Daily Verse: Romans 8:37-39

Daily Devo: Everyone of us might have had an ideal superhero

image. When we were kids or even at the present time, we were
fans of heroes. We looked up to those figures who are stronger

MANANAGUMPAY
and mightier than us. We saw them as something that we could
rely on. We made those heroes our role models and their
narratives became our own life stories.

We all try to emulate a hero inside of us. As you progress in life

and face the reality of this world, you tend to miss those fancy
stories and fight the real battles day by day. You tend to grasp
that this life is an exhausting battlefield. You think of days as
something you must win. However, every human is a limited
being. One day you may find yourself at the peak of your own
epic adventure and the next day tired and weary in the middle of
a tragic story. This life is a very complicated and grueling war
zone. You exert all your efforts trying to win the challenges you

MARCH 2020
have to face while you forget that you also need a hero who will
win these trials for you. You always try to save others and
yourself until you realize that you also need a Savior.

God already won the battles you have to face. You can stand
against a vast army with all guards down and head up high. Jesus
already bled what you had to bleed, cried the tears you had to
shed and endured the pain that you had to deal with. Not a
single defeat nor the most difficult obstacle can separate you
from God’s everlasting love. By His grace, it is a clean slate, a
home run and an absolute victory.

Daily Verse: Proverbs 21:31

pandigma (see Psalm 20:7).

mundo.

Daily Verse: Galatians 6:9; Psalm 22:1-2

Daily Devo: While pursuing your goals and God’s calling for you in
life, it is impossible not to feel tired emotionally, physically and
spiritually. When you are put under pressure it is so easy to fall

MANANAGUMPAY
back, not to try harder and finally give up.

“I will never pass that bar exam! This my third try, I guess my wit
is only up to this far. Everyday is dreadful my Lord, I can’t fight
this disease anymore, just come and take me, will you? This is
like my fourth job yet my family is still in poverty, can you hear
me, Lord? I am passionate in evangelizing but why is it that only a
few people come to you, Lord? Am I not effective as a leader or
is it just not my calling? I am so tired. I wish I was oblivious.”

In Psalm 22:1-2, David cried out to God in anguish and said, "My
God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far
from saving me, so far from my cries of anguish? My God, I cry

MARCH 2020
out by day, but you do not answer, by night, but I find no rest."

You see, David was so desperate to get out of the mess that he
was in, that there came a point when He thought God has
forsaken Him. Little did he know, God was strengthening him for
a greater purpose. In the same way, God is empowering you,
equipping you for a bigger cause. Do not give up and continue
what you’ve started. Finish it with the boldness, strength, and
faith that comes from God. He is not slow, He hears your cries,
your every plea. In His time you will reap what you sow.

Fight for your dreams, your health, your calling, your work and
never grow weary. Run the race towards your faith goals and see
God at the finish line waiting for you with a big smile while

Is your heart okay? Well then, I hope it is. After going through all

MANANAGUMPAY
those pain, got some bruises and scratches, I want to remind you
that you're winning. As long as you're walking towards God, to
see His face, to be with Him, darling, you are winning.

Our God isn't like anyone. Thousand of years ago, He already

gave us the victory. And though the world stripped our hopes off,
God's love is our armor. Maybe not just an armor but our army.
How loving He is, giving us victory and promised that He will be
with us on every battle, just to remind us that we're not alone
and we have Him as a companion.

And maybe this is the sign that you've been waiting for,
conqueror: you need to let go of the things that you can't

MARCH 2020
control. God said He will be with you, fighting all of your
enemies. Take a bigger step, have a greater faith, God doesn't
want you to just “be there”. He doesn't want you to lose all the

Daily Verse: 1 John 5:4-5

Daily Devo: In the bible, we are often encouraged to stand firm

and be on our guard. The world is a battlefield and we, as
Christians, are soldiers of God’s Kingdom. And being on the side

MANANAGUMPAY
of the kingdom of light means we are more than conquerors (see
Romans 8:37). We are overcomers!

Contrary to the world’s definition, overcomers are not those who

successfully gained power or prestige but the ones who fearfully
surrendered their lives. Those are the people who decided to
follow Jesus and live in obedience to His words. They are not
sinless saints but those who carefully resist the power and
temptation of this world through total dependence upon God.

Overcomers are the ones who persist. They are not necessarily
people who don’t experience loss or heartbreak but are people
who still choose to continue the path to righteousness in spite of,

Daily Devo: When friends turn into strangers, dreams start to

stretch beyond reach, and situations become too much to bear,
what do you do? Often times you exert more effort—initiating

MANANAGUMPAY
conversations and being persistent just to keep a relationship. Or
working beyond your means and climbing more mountains just
to make it to the top. But does it suffice? Can forging ahead
stoically give you victory over situations?

It can be enough to do the outside work. Awards and promotion,

a comfortable lifestyle, keeping a partner—working hard can give
you just that. However, in the pursuit of this kind of victory, the
heart can be troubled and the soul can be weary. The outside
may appear abundant but on the inside, emptiness looms.
Sooner or later, your situation can have another turn around and
lead you into a new course of disaster. External change will
always be constant.

MARCH 2020
But there’s no reason to wallow in anxiety and fear. For there is
someone who gives victory not as the world gives. And today He
wants you to stop being in control. It’s time to let go of your
situation and let Him in. For you will gain much more when you
start to let go.

Christ did not come for those who can succeed by their own

Daily Verse: 2 Corinthians 12:8-10

Daily Devo: The most difficult challenge in this world is not

having anything, not having a stable job to support your family,
not having food to eat, or not having money to buy your wants

MANANAGUMPAY
and your needs. The hardest challenge is dealing with yourself.
Often times, your enemy is not a person trying to make you feel
small. The enemy can be your own self. Are you facing loneliness,
loss, in fear, stuck or puzzled up? Do you feel like the rocky road
has no end and you’re inside the prison you made for yourself?
Every time you feel like you’ve reached the end of the road you
go back from the start. It’s a never ending cycle you wish you
could put an end to. You’ve done enough, you’ve fought hard to
the point of pleading God to take the thorns away. You’ve cried
out for help yet God told you to persevere more. Is your race
done yet? Probably not. But do you still have the faith in God
that He will bring you out stronger?

MARCH 2020
To be your own enemy is harder than any struggle you may face.
It is a battle only you and God need to surpass. But God wants
you to learn great things that you will bring for the rest of your
life from this.

What do you think God wants you to learn? God wants you to
fight harder. He knows you’re already doing good. But He wants
you to be better in your battles, your thorns, circumstances and
struggles especially about yourself. He wants you to finish the
race with him. To never give up on yourself. And lastly, to have
faith in Him, to believe in the promises that He has made for you
— a better you, a spirited you.

To overcome yourself is to overcome any adversities. God’s

sufficient grace is enough for you to fight. For when you are

We compromise Godly things for our worldly goals without

victorious man that ever lived is now living in you.

Nevermind if you still make mistakes and are far from being

Daily Verse: 1 Corinthians 15:56-57

Daily Devo: One of the greatest enemies in one's life is himself.

You might not admit it but this is everyone's battle: to win over
self. To overcome sin and temptation. Maybe you are someone

MANANAGUMPAY
who committed to do things better and avoid bad habits. Yet in
just a few months and you still fall back to where God rescued
you from. So you're here standing, waiting for that time to come
for you to be fully committed to change. Your argument is that
maybe God would understand, since you are serving Him at the
moment anyway.

Don't fall for that lie, so you might not get stuck on what they call
“a double life”. You need to understand that how Jesus gave His
life for you isn't shallow. Allowing yourself to do something that
you serve Him half-heartedly, but you shouldn’t! No! You need to
know it's not enough that you serve Him and yet live like
someone who doesn’t know God. This might hurt but believe me,

MARCH 2020
you need to hear this. You can put off serving for a bit, but if you
don't put in time to be at your best character then there's
something wrong. You can't be God's child on a certain day and
live as evil's child on another.

So listen beloved, being victorious in Christ is a sinless life. And

please bear in mind that it's not because He is a redeeming King
that you should keep on sinning, and that His grace is telling you
that it's okay. Don't be fooled. For you know when you are living

2. "Apart from me you can do nothing." John 15:5b

Kaya
madalas kahit simpleng sitwasyon ay lumalaki o lumalala dahil

Kaya ano man ang sitwasyon mo, maliit man o malaki ay

MANANAGUMPAY
Paul used an athletic imagery here to depict the close of his life,
affirming he has engaged himself in one event which is truly
worth one’s life.

Have you "immersed" yourself in the "event" that truly matters,

which God gave you and wills you to do? Or perhaps, you're too
busy with other things you've picked up along the way?

In Paul's time, marathoners were to literally removed one’s

clothes or garments which could possibly hinder them from the
race they were competing in. They were literally naked. Why?
For them, even the slightest weight difference can affect their
performance.

MARCH 2020
kaya na wala sila, because they've been part of your life and you
don't see yourself living without them.

In order for us to finish the race, we must focus and give our best
for the race. You need to focus on the task that God has given
you.
ipinapagawa ni Lord, give it up.

Is it worth it? Yes. Because after the race, our King will be waiting
for you to say, "Well done, my good and faithful servant."
