REACTION PAPER

Every school has their own set of goals that they are working hard to attain. They have a

vision for the future of their school and their students, and a mission that they implement to be

the medium for the people who want to attain the bright future that they have always dreamt of.

The Western Mindanao State University (WMSU) is a school with strongly implemented

policies that is congruent with their mission and vision to maintain the quality of education and

training of the future professionals and to attain their goal for the school. The school’s mission

and vision can be seen almost anywhere within the school premises as it is printed out and posted

on the walls of most rooms, outside the colleges’ buildings, and it is even seen in the school’s

page, course syllabus/outlines, tarpaulin, and pamphlets. It is also recited in every flag ceremony

to ensure that the students’ hearts will be engraved with the schools mission and vision. The

school’s effort to achieve their goals is highly commendable and effective, because I have seen a

lot of professionals who have achieved their dreams and carved their names in their own fields

that came from this school, Western Mindanao State University. This has given the school its

prestige.

As a student who studies nursing in this institution. I am proud that I had become a part

of this school. And I hope that someday I can give glory to the name of the school by also

carving my name in the medical field as a professional, with the mission and vision of my Alma

mater still imprinted in my heart. But for now, I will take advantage of everything the school has

to offer for me as a student and absorb everything that I need to make my dreams into my reality.
