MNHS Commemorates Career Guidance, Motivates Learners to Thrive

To assist students in discovering and pursuing content, fulfilled career options that fit their
interests, skills, and ambitions, Midsalip National High School culminated the Career Guidance Week
with the theme “Learn, Thrive, Rising above the challenges in the post-pandemic future” where students
from grades 10 to 12 proudly worn the uniforms of their dream professions — December 2022.

Future doctors, nurses, engineers, teachers, soldiers, policemen, etc. paraded the campus which
dominated students' courage and determination to become one.

"In choosing your career you have to put it in your heart and mind," PTA President, Mr. Jennifer
Tapales, stated in his inspirational message which motivates the students to work towards their goals
and strive for success.

The PTA President further shared that students must be resourceful not letting financial
challenges hinder their will to achieve one's goal.

“I want to become a teacher to show students what it means to be a good teacher – patient and
willing to be a friend to students,” one of the students uttered.

Airah D. Pateno, aspiring to be a doctor, announced that indeed financial problems might
hinder his pursuit of going after her dreams but there are ways to overcome it and that everyone must
endure the struggles and pain because we will reap the fruits of our labor in the future.

The program ended as the participants were guided in deepening their understanding in their
desired career paths.
