workplace and in achieving our professional goals is key.
I'm Adeseye Lowal-Solarin and I'll be your host and guide to the world of communicating well at work.
As an entrepreneur, being able to communicate effectively, work collaboratively, and present my
ideas with impact are skills I use on a daily basis.
This course is an introduction on how to communicate well at work. You'll find out about how you
communicate with others and explore where your strengths are and where you can develop. You'll
also find out the skills and techniques that we all need for effective communication at work. You'll be
able to build on your strengths and develop real strategies that you can use to improve how you
communicate. At the end of the course, you'll be offered some next steps if you'd like to continue
developing your skills.
You'll also hear throughout the course from one lead educator, Jennifer Rosen. Jennifer is a senior
communications specialist, coach, and filmmaker. She works with global clients in strategic integrated
communications for the public, private, and not-for-profit sector. You will hear from Jennifer
throughout the course as she coaches you on different aspects of effective communication in the
workplace. Let's get started.
