Getting hot: heat by a product of energy production, the harder you train, the hotter you get
Getting sweaty: sweat evaporating from the surface of your skin removes some body heat
Having red skin: blood vessels dilate close the surface of the skin to help you lose heat
Increased depth and Rate of breathing: gaseous exchange to occur more quickly. More
oxygen can be delivered and more carbon dioxide can be removed
Increase heart rate: this allow gases to be transported around the body. It can be delivered
to the working muscles and carbon dioxide removed
The immediate effects of exercise tend to begone within a few minutes of exercise ending.
However there are other side effects that tend to last a little longer. Tiredness and fatigue
can be experienced in the days after heavy training or a big competition
