HOUSEHOLD EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT

This Employment Agreement (“Agreement”) entered into this ___ day of _______________, by
and between:

________________________, Filipino, of legal age, and with

referred to as the “EMPLOYER”);

“HOUSEHOLD EMPLOYEE”).

RECITALS

(1) EMPLOYER is in need of Household Services;

(2) The HOUSEHOLD EMPLOYEE has represented that


s/he is willing to work and render household services for the EMPLOYERmployer;

(3) The EMPLOYER is interested in employing the


HOUSEHOLD EMPLOYEE;

NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the foregoing premises, the parties to this
Agreement agree as follows:

1. PLACE OF WORK (LUGAR NG PANUNUNGKULANTRABAHO)

The HOUSEHOLD EMPLOYEE EMPLOYER shall provide his/her household services the EMPLOYER

2. TERM (TAGAL/PANAHON NG PAGGAWATRABAHO)

The HOUSEHOLD EMPLOYEE shall commence household work on Start Date until End Date (“Period
of Employment”), unless sooner terminated for any of the causes provided by law or this
Agreement.
3. KIND OF WORK- LAUNDRYWOMAN/ LABANDERA AND RESPONSIBILITIES (URI NG
PAGGAWATRABAHO AT MGA TUNGKULIN)

The HOUSEHOLD EMPLOYEE shall as __________________________ with the following

4. HOURS OF WORK AND WEEKLY REST DAY (ORAS NG PAGGAWATRABAHO AT

EMPLOYEE shall be entitled to at least one (1) rest day (24 hours) per week.

5. COMPENSATION (PASAHOD)

The HOUSEHOLD EMPLOYEE agrees to a monthly compensation of _____________________


including a premium pay of _____________ per hour of work beyond the regular hours of work
as indicated in Section 4.

Further, the HOUSEHOLD EMPLOYEE agrees the withholding of the following amounts for the

In addition to the foregoing, Tthe HOUSEHOLD EMPLOYEE shall also enjoy the following

3. Other benefits which the Employer may grant

7. GROUNDS FOR TERMINATION (MGA SALIGAN UKOL SA PAGWAWAKAS NG


PANUNUNGKULAN)

Aside from the just and authorized causes for terminating employment enumerated in Articles 282
297 to 29884 of the Labor Code of the Philippines and notwithstanding any provision to the
contrary in this Agreement, the following acts and/or omissions of the HOUSEHOLD EMPLOYEE
shall, without limitation, similarly constitute just and authorized grounds for the EMPLOYER to
terminate the HOUSEHOLD EMPLOYEE’s employment with the EMPLOYER and/or grounds for
EMPLOYER to impose disciplinary measures on the HOUSEHOLD EMPLOYEE:

a) Serious misuse or abuse of the EMPLOYER’s property, facilities and/or resources;

b) Insubordination as defined by law;

c) Commission of an act that may be considered as a crime or offense against a CO-


HOUSEHOLD EMPLOYEE or the EMPLOYER itself;

d) Other similar acts, omissions, and/or events.

The EMPLOYER may terminate this Agreement for any of the foregoing grounds by giving the
HOUSEHOLD EMPLOYEE a written notice of its intention to dismiss him and the particular acts or
omission constituting the ground for his dismissal. The HOUSEHOLD EMPLOYEE may answer the
charges against him/her within five (5) calendar days from receipt of such notice.

Upon termination of his/her employment for any reason or cause, the HOUSEHOLD EMPLOYEE
shall promptly account for, return, and deliver to the EMPLOYER, his/her uniform and all the
EMPLOYER’s propertiesy that may have been assigned or entrusted to his/her care or custody.

Should the HOUSEHOLD EMPLOYEE have unpaid or pending obligations to the EMPLOYER,
monetary or otherwise, upon the termination of his/her employment for any reason or cause,
the HOUSEHOLD EMPLOYEE expressly agrees and hereby authorizes the EMPLOYER to make the
necessary deductions from the salary, bonuses and any other amounts or benefits that may be
due to him/her, to effect settlement or payment of his/her unpaid or pending obligations.

8. APPLICATION OF LABOR LAWS (PAGPAIIRAL NG MGA BATAS UKOL SA PAGGAWA)

It is understood that with respect to matters not covered by this Agreement, the provisions of
the Labor Code of the Philippines, its implementing rules and regulations, and special laws shall
apply.

9. ENTIRE AGREEMENT (KABUUANG KASUNDUAN)

This Agreement represents the entire and only agreement and understanding between the
EMPLOYER and the HOUSEHOLD EMPLOYEE, and supersedes and cancels all previous oral or
written agreements, negotiations and commitments relating to the subject matter hereof and
may not be amended or modified, in any manner except by an instrument in writing signed by
the parties to this Agreement.

10. ACCEPTANCE AND SEVERABILITY (PAGSANGAYON AT PAG


The HOUSEHOLD EMPLOYEE acknowledges that he/she has read and understood this Agreement.

date first mentioned.
