straight and long

Stand with feet wider than


shoulders & feet pointing
Palm up lift arm as straight ahead or slightly
high as possible internally rotated
Pull hips
back
Weight is
on the
heels
Heels pull towards each
other as toes grip ground

Decompression breathing:
Lift chest higher with each
breathe
Pull belly towards back on
exhale
Do not look up
Keep the neck
NOTE: if you can not reach straight & long
the ground without bending
your back, use a yoga block,
ball, etc under the hand.
