Restarting Main Engine & Aux. Boiler

after Main Electrical Power restored
Restarting of Main Engine after Main Electrical Power
restored:
1. Request Bridge to shift Telegraph to stop position.
2.When main power restored, all main engine service systems
will be restored automatically by sequential start of pumps.
3.Confirm that jacket cooling water pressure, lubricating oil
pressure, fuel oil pressure are normal. After reset by pressing
“cause reset” button, no highlighted red lines on the BMS-2000
control panel on the page “shut down, slow down”. If for any
reason any line on “shut down, slow down” page is highlighted
red, rectify it by bringing the respective system to operational
status.
4.Request Bridge to start Main Engine and give the steps for
telegraph according to navigational situation.

Restarting of Aux. Boiler after Main Electrical Power

restored:

1. Restart Boiler FD fan.

2.Confirm that Boiler Control Panel alive. Reset all alarms by
pressing reset button.
3. Restart Boiler by shifting the “BNR OPERATION” switch to

“AUTO ON” position. Turn switch to this position and release, it

will come back to “AUTO” position by its own.
