Objective: Students will perform string crossings exercises smoothly with proper
technique.
Materials:
* Stands
* Metronome
* Instruments
Situational Factors:
* I am a stranger to these students
* It is quite early in the morning
* I do not know how many students there will be
* Cello is my least comfortable string instrument
Procedure: An introduction will be given so that the students know who I am. A
pre-diagnostic will be conducted to evaluate where the students are on their string
crossing technique. I will facilitate the rehearsal in a call and response manner in
which I demonstrate the exercise and then the students respond and repeat with
feedback given between runs.
