Students will complete Lesson 15/42 with 95% accuracy. Students will pick a piece appropriate for their
skill level.

Lesson Description:
Lesson 15: Ledger Lines
Lesson 42: Alle Breve
Find and finalize individual songs for this week. Students will use personal devices to locate sheet music for
a piano piece of their choosing (teacher approval based on skill level and appropriateness). Websites will be
suggested: musescore.com and imslp.org
Differentiation exists in the level of theory book and variety in difficulty of pieces each student choose for
themselves.
CT: How will students transfer knowledge of technique from previous pieces to their current piece?

Assessment:
I will assess student understanding of ledger lines and alle breve by checking the accuracy of their theory
work.
Then, I will listen and watch for correct pitches and rhythms of their individual pieces.

ESOL/ESE Modifications:
No ESOL

Lesson Reflections:
The lesson went well today – the students seemed to understand ledger lines based on their theory work and
they all picked their pieces successfully for this week. The objective was achieved. Student behavior was
satisfactory throughout the three classes.
