Cognitive observation

Part A
For this Part I observe a 5 months old child who their parents has stimulate her
cognitive development by simply playing. What I has saw is that the baby loves toys that
made sound, her mom play with her with a dice that every time that its moves it made
sounds. Also she enjoys playing with black and white things, such as books that has
black and white pictures or shapes. I believe that this baby is in the Primary circular
reactions. I believe that the next steps that their parents should take is to start to
stimulate her brain by showing her picture book. They have told me that the teacher
fostering cognitive growth in this child by playing with her with finger puppets and also
playing with her favorite toys.

Part B
For this part I have observe a 19 months old. He has develop cognitive learning by
memorizing some gesture of action songs. Also he try to converse even if he cannot be
clearly understood. This baby is in tertiary circular reactions. The teacher play with the
babies with songs were you can made gestures, also reading to them to made a
conversation in some how, the baby that I observe play with toys whit they can interact
with. I think that the next steps that the teacher can take is to start playing with toys that
can be stock or match with.

Part C
Age of the child observe: 26 months
