resource section to learn. Make
these words using different
activities through the week. (2X)
• Rainbow writing-write the word
in different color crayons (at
least 3x)
• Find the words in your reading
books (make a tally)
• Chant the letters of the word's
cheerleader style (done in
class).
• Make the words with playdoh
or slime.

After listening to the book Bright
Yellow Flower write down some
facts you learned. You can
make it into a book or do it on
one page. Make sure you include
detailed pictures and labels too.
Read, talk or walk to learn about signs of spring. Write down some
of the signs you read about or saw while you were outside. Make a
book about Spring. Make sure to include what you saw, smelled
and heard.

Math #1:
Play Game-Make 10: Take
playing cards and remove face
cards. Turn cards face up in a 3x3
array. Take turns taking one or
more cards that make ten.
Math #2: Word Problem:
Build a tower using 12 blocks and two colors. How many ways can
you build it? Record all the different ways using symbols and
numerals.
Blocks could be lego or jenga blocks. Hint: have 12 blocks of
each color and make changes. Take pictures if you want.

Another day write adding sentences for them: 6 + 6 = 12.

Math #3:

Count to 20 by 1’s. Count to 20 by 2’s. Count to 20 by 5’s. If you need help ask.

Go out in your yard and look for signs of spring.
If you go to the share page on this website you
will see some signs of spring Mrs. Seely saw when
she went out in her yard. You will also see the
buds from the bulbs we planted in our school
garden. They will soon be tulips.
This is a suggested schedule for your day. Use it if it is helpful. It is based on the
provincial guideline of 1 to 1.5 hours daily.
