 Abstract
Students will learn through integration of technology throughout the classroom in order
to create an engaging and adaptive workspace for their growth. The student’s within this
classroom will be given the resources needed to reach their highest potential while still having
fun and developing successful relationship skills through our flexible seating and open
discussion. The tools included in this wishlist allow the students to have access to new types of
technology in order to further their technology skills and give them a better understanding of
their tools. The overall layout of the classroom is constructive for project and problem based
learning groups. The layout also allows the instructor to have a overseeing eye of the classroom
by placing their desk in the corner farthest from the door. In addition, the amount of windows
allows an abundance of natural light keeping the students awake and attentive for lessons while
giving a large area in which science projects such as plant observation and weather monitoring.
 Proposal
I propose that a $15,000 budget to improve the productivity of the classroom be
invested into the products below based on our student population. In addition to the
items on this list, the budget should be used to supply a library covering multiple grade
levels including books for ESOL students. In addition to the library, I believe that the
budget should be invested into new seating and tables as the arranged desk do not
allow for easy grouping of students or space for hands-on experiments. The layout of the
classroom will be better equipped using round tables with separate chairs so that the
chairs can be moved out of the way for stand-up activities and to allow the tables to be
wheelchair accessible from any angle. The items listed below are not in any level of
importance but when leveling the items based off of prioritization the most important
investment is the promethean board. This is a productive investment as it can be used in
every single lesson or activity within the classroom. Not only does this device allow
students to view videos and images from any spot in the classroom, but it also allows the
teacher to show their computer screen to teach skills on the tablets and develop the
student’s researching skills. A promethean board would be a long lasting investment as
it allows the students to contribute to what is on the board through electronic pens
included. After the promethean board the item with the highest level of significance
would be the document camera. This device is helpful within the classroom by allowing
the students to see the teachers desk perspective from any angle of the classroom
allowing easy instruction and demonstration of the activity or text so that students have a
clear visualization. This can be extremely beneficial to students who are identified as
visual-spatial learners. It allows them to see exactly what needs to be done to ensure
that they are on task. Third, there is a high importance for the request of student
response systems. These are incredibly helpful when studying for testing or observing
classroom performance. Though education does not rely on tools and technology it is
helpful to use the resources available to us. It allows students to learn and grow and a
faster rate while encouraging students to expand their knowledge within the STEM
fields.

students to convey their responses without their response being impacted
by the other students who may arrive to their conclusion before them.
This is helpful for the students who are on a lower reading level allowing
