    REPORT ON ONE DAY INDUSTRIAL VISIT


    Date: 03-03-2015

    II/IV B.Tech Students of ECM department along with two faculty members (
    Mr. Abdul Ahad and Mr. T.Ravi ) and one programmer ( Ms. MSN Lakshmi )
    went to DR.NTTPS as a part of industrial visit on 02-03-15.

    Dr.NTTPS In charge of production -Mr.Srinivas guided the students on various


    activities held at the Thermal Power Station. Students were given a brief idea on
    the technical aspects of power generation and the working of various
    machineries. They collected information on the social aspects of the project, viz
    capacity of Nagarjuna dam, units of power generated, its supply and distribution,
    increase in agricultural production due to canal irrigation and flood protection.
    The students learned about the management of Hydel power generation under
    varying availability of tank water and varying demand.
