REFLECTION PAPER

PHILOSOPY

Care for the poor, care for the planet, care for nature, care for
the communities, care for people, or simply care on God’s
creation. That was Laudato Si by Pope Francis was all about, he
spoke about caring for our common goods that we use in
everyday life of living. We need to strengthen the fact that we
are one single human family. There are no border or barriers,
political or social that left behind which we can hide. It also
tells us that while humanity has made an incredible progress in
science and technology, this has not been connected with
moral, ethical and spiritual growth. This imbalance is causing
our relationships with creation and with God to break down and
our hearts to become hardened to the cry of the earth and the
cry of the poor. We become superior and abandoning the
creation and everyone that is part of it, forgetting what God has
been entrusted us to our care since we are all created by Him.
The only thing that Pope Francis want us to do is that we need
to love everything that God had given to us, to take care the
things we needed the most not the things that giving us
satisfaction or just only happiness but rather the things that
help us to live in our day to day basis.
