The researchers explained the procedures and importance of the activity. Every

participant had 2 bond papers, 1 pencil and a coloring material. After an hour the drawing

was collected and chose the 4 winners and received a school supplies served as an award.

Leaflet Distribution to Promote Environmental Awareness

The researchers distributed leaflet in every households of Purok 6, Barangay 7, Lipa

City, Batangas. The leaflet are devised by the Lipa- CENRO and were coordinated by the

researchers for distribution as shown in figure 9.

During the dissemination of the flyers, the researchers are simultaneously conducting

interviews on the methods of waste disposal of the residents. Second way to promote

environmental awareness is to distribute tarpaulin and signage in selected area of

Barangay 7.
