What Is Science Fiction?

Science fiction its a mix of science and literature
The Use Of Imagination In Science Fiction Is :
1. It answers the question “what if?”
2. Can be about anything - just have to apply some scientific
element to it
3. There needs to be a willing suspension of disbelief
4. Looks at the social application of science, technology and
innovations

As For The Narrative Parameters Before Making Science Fiction,

Namely:
1. The sense of time - past present or future alternate parallel
worlds
2. The universe, space, travel, the planets, moon
3. Aliens, robots, androids, mutants, superhumans, computers
4. Utopias and dystopias
5. The world and its issues - global warming, the end of the world ,
diseases and pandemics
Science Fiction Settings, Must:
1. The setting has to be so powerful
2. It sets the tone of the story

Purpose of scientific fiction arrangements:

1. The story needs a pull
2. It should have some social theme
3. Mostly an indication of societal issues

Examples for science fiction:

1. How science can lead to world domination and control
2. Loss of human values
3. The extinction of life
4. Nature's importance
for example a warning viz: Posthumanism and transhumanism

Conclusion :
1. Science fiction should helf inform and educate
2. Push us beyond our limits of thought
3. Help erase prejudices and bias
4. Above all - it should tell a story of imagination
