Title: Best Sport Stretch’s

rotation) to analyze and improve performance of self-and/or others).

HS-2.3: Design a long-term fitness plan based on FITT (frequency, intensity, type, and
time) training principles to improve or maintain health-related physical fitness.

Description: This app lesson will develop grade 12 physical education students’
knowledge of fitness plans and apply them to their daily routine.

Instructional Objective: 

 Students will be able to identify key fitness exercises that best fit their needs.

 Students will be able to create their own personalized fitness plans.

Step 1 Content-Based or Skill-Based App: Students will use Google Drive app on their
iPhone or iPad to archive their desired sport exercises for future reference on their own
personalized workout plan.

Step 2 Content-Based or Skill-Based App: Students will use the Challenger app to see
pre-set workouts and challenge each student to do their own respected sport fitness
routine.

Step 3 Creation-Based (Learning Artifact) or Skill-Based App (Screenshot of


Progress): Students will use the SmartGym app to create their own personalized fitness
plan based on their research and for their own desired sport. They will then screenshot
their workout plan and email it for assessment.
