Lubrication with MonoFlex

4
The lubricant in a “Single
2
Line” system is provided
by a pump (1). A main line
(2) is connecting all
1
feeders (3). The main line
can even be split using
3
tee connectors. The feeder
that is farthermost from
the pump can be equipped
with a pressure switch (4).

• While the main-line is pressurized the dosing chambers of the feeders are filled
with a predefined amount of lubricant.
• As soon as a certain pressure is reached at the end of the line the pressure switch
is providing its signal indicating that the system works well. When the pump is
turned off the main line relieves through an integrated valve.
• The feeders will then provide the lubricant to the lube points by a spring loaded
piston. Each lube point is thereby receiving the predefined amount of lubricant.
• The cycle can start again after the main line is fully relieved.

Valve

If the main-line is pressurized the valve opens and the feeders dosing chamber is filled
with lubricant.
After the max. pressure is reached the pump is turning of and the main line relieves. The
valve is closing and the spring is applying force on the piston.
The piston is supplying the pre-metered amount of lubricant towards the lube point.
