- A call to our generation to see, know, and love others more.

- A photography project that shares people’s stories, not just the photos.

DENVER, Colo. (Feb. 15, 2020): Earlier this month, abbie joy photography took strides to call
this generation to see, know and love one another more with “Seen, Known, Loved.” The
photography project showcases stories of people that have felt seen, known, or loved on abbie
joy photography’s Instagram page in order to draw attention to the people behind the photos and
their stories.

The “Seen, Known, Loved” project gets to know the people and their stories, exploring how this
generation can better engage with one another. Their stories are shared in the captions, along
with photos of the people who told the stories.

This project was started by abbie joy photography in the hopes of sparking conversations about
how we can meet these innate needs of seeing, knowing, and loving one another. In a hurting
generation that is fixated on comparison, social media, and the latest and greatest, this project is
a call to see, know, and love this generation beyond the screen.

Within the generational call, this project also exists to show that photography is more than just
the photos. Through the “Seen, Known, Loved” project, abbie joy photography desires to show
the stories behind the lens and the importance of those people and those stories, not just the
photos shared on social media.

The project will continue with people sharing their stories with abbie joy photography and
continued conversations about how this generation can better meet the innate needs to be seen,
