READING PRACTICE: TEXT

Dear Alice,

Hi! How are you doing?

Did I tell you about my new job yet? I work in a call center for Alpen Bank. I speak to
lots of different people on the phone every day and most of my co-workers are very
friendly. I really enjoy it.

The job isn't very well-paid, but that's OK because I don't have much experience. The
salary will get better.

I'm getting a lot of training and I'm taking a course next month. I'm very busy, but I like
that. I don't have to get up too early every morning, so I can still watch TV until late!!

How is your job going? And is your golf getting any better?!!

Write me soon.

Alan
