1. Scope of this Plan:

Scope of the present document is to provide guidelines to implement in all KAC Construction sites
where our employees are operative in order to minimize and reduce risk of exposition to the
COVID-19 and to update site emergency procedures.

2. Basic info on COVID-19 (how Virus is spreading & Symptoms)

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a respiratory illness that can spread from person to
person:

 Between people who are in close contact with one another (within about 1 m);
 Through direct contact shaking hands, or touching with contaminated hands nose or mouth;
 Through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes. These
droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled
into the lungs.

3. Objective:
The World Health Organization assessed that COVID-19 can be characterized as a
pandemic. To deal with it, there are steps that can be taken by construction site
managers and to protect themselves and those onsite during this coronavirus crisis.

3.1 Planning and preparations

Planning and communication are key when it comes to effective project management.
Although dealing with the Covid-19 outbreak is unchartered territory for managers,
speaking with workers, letting them know what is happening and ensuring them that
their safety is the top priority is extremely important moving forward.

Important Considerations:
Whilst it is crucial that you are prepared for delays and disruption to projects, safety
should be at the top of your list as project manager and leader. Follow and keep up to date
with the official advice from Ministry of Health. To protect yourself and others from
coronavirus, it is so important to know how the virus is spread.

3.2 Basic rules of prevention

 All workers with even mild flu symptoms are advised to refrain from accessing the
Site offices and construction areas, working remotely, if health conditions allow.
 All events and mass initiatives relating to the Site must be suspended;
 All cleanliness and hygiene measures at the Site offices and welfare facilities shall
