Profession and Bhrigu Nadi Technique Part 1

Part 1

In the Bhrigu Nadi Technique, Saturn is the planet which tells about the profession. Saturn is the
planet of Karma and owns the law of deeds. Saturn delivers the result of Karma on all individuals
according to what the native is due from the work he has done and thus, Saturn is the deliver
of Karma. Saturn, therefore, has no intention of harming anybody and is clean hearted, remain stoic
and shapeless. Lord Shiva, representing destruction and Saturn is the embodiment of Lord Shiva.
Saturn is free from desires. Saturn is executive body of delivering karma according to good/bad deeds
committed by each native.

Saturn in conjunction with Mars represents the ego and the actions are directed accordingly. Saturn in
conjunction with Ketu and with other favourable aspects directs the action of a man towards
renunciation.

While understanding the actions which a person would perform we have to understand the interplay of
Saturn with other planets like Jupiter (representing the Sanchit Karmas – Good & bad. I have already
explained that Saturn will deliver the good and bad effect of the Sanchit Karma which can be
understood by the power of Jupiter in a native’s horoscope where we should also consider the
placement of Jupiter and the relationship of Jupiter with other planets through the  Nakshatras), Sun
(represents the energy and status), Moon (representing the mind), Venus (represents Luxury, refined
oil and any other thing which is refined and made beautiful. This needs to be studied with respect to
Venus’s placement in the house, sign and aspect), Mercury (represents intellect and the accument to
trade by speaking/striking deals and the use of intellect). Rahu and Ketu are important planets where
Rahu is important for material prosperity while Ketu gives an attitude towards renunciation or
hardships which instill the mind towards the same. Life, therefore, is governed by Jupiter and Saturn
delivers the results of the Sanchit Karma  through the interplay of planets like Sun, Moon, Venus,
Mercury, Rahu and Ketu.

Saturn (whether good karma or bad karma, karma is karma) and let us discuss the results of
combination of Saturn with other planets.

When Saturn is –

1) With Sun & Sun in good position then it is called “Raja Karma”,

2) With Moon – indicating moving, travelling aspects etc.

3) With Mars (Powers, Shakti, Yantra), Yantra Karma.

4) With Mercury (Intelligence and Commerce) Karma in such aspects,

5) With Jupiter – Guru Karma

6) With Venus (Wealth/Luck) such aspects of Karma

7) With Dragon Head – Rahu Karma (rituals).

8) With Dragon – Tail Moksha Karma, Karma of liberation.

Part 2
While predicting results to the Bhrigu technique one has to necessarily see the position of Saturn in a
native’s house. To explain it, when Saturn is in conjunction with Ketu or Ketu is in the house next to
Saturn, or Ketu is ahead of Saturn and there are no planets between Saturn and Ketu, it should be
taken that even if the  native is born in the house of a billionaire  he will struggle to get a foot for
himself and the settlement in profession will only come after the age of 28 and natives only in the
early 30s that the native will settle. He will have to work very hard and whatever may be the
environment he will find a large number of impediments coming in the early stage.

Similarly, if Saturn has Mars opposite to it or Saturn is in conjunction with Mars, Mars being ahead of
Saturn in terms of degrees when in conjunction, the concerned person despite positioning of high
amount of energy will have success after delays and frustrations. On the other hand, Saturn exalted
with Venus conjunct will place the native in a comfortable situation. The planets like Mars, Moon,
Mercury, Venus analysed with the natal Saturn help us in predicting the native of job which a person
would do.

For example, Saturn exalted would be Saturn in the house of Venus. Venus represents finer things of
life and luxuries. If in the house next to Saturn is Venus it will be a lucky horoscope where the
depositor is in the second and next to an exalted Saturn. However, if the depositor of Saturn i.e.
Venus in this case is in the 12th, the same Saturn will not give good results and even if the native is
able to achieve, it will not give happiness. Thus, we have to first see the placement of depositor of
Saturn and if it is in the 6, 8 and 12 from its own house, it shall not give good results. The results will
be fatal and negative when the depositor of the Saturn is in the 8 th but in the case of 6 th and 12th, it
would give results after delays and frustrations. Please remember that we have to see the potential of
Jupiter by predicting the impact of Saturn as explained above.

Thus, the dispositor of natal Saturn gives an idea of how the destiny would be for a native in terms of
his profession. Therefore, while analyzing profession as per Bhrigu technique one has to see the
placement of Saturn and the depositor of Saturn, if Saturn is placed in a inimical sign and the
depositor is in the 8th house one can easily predict that the native will have to face frustration with
respect to his profession, whatever may the Yogas existing in the horoscope.

The native will get good results if the depositor of Saturn is placed in the 5 th, 9th and the 11th house.
The 11th house is the most auspicious as it also signifies gain. The 3 rd, 7th and the 2nd House placement
of the depositor will give above average results with respect to profession but not as good as when
they are placed in the 5 th, 9th and the 11th. Once we have seen the placement of Saturn in its sign and
its dispositor one should then look into the planets which are behind Saturn i.e. in the house adjoining
Saturn or the planets in the 2nd and 12th to Saturn. The planets which are aspecting Saturn, the
planets which are 5th, 9th and 11th to Saturn, the planets which are 6 th and 8th to Saturn. The planets in
conjunction to Saturn read along with the planets in 2 nd and 12th to Saturn will give a fairly good idea
of the kind of profession which a person would do. For example, if Saturn is in the house of Mars, it
will signify that the concerned person would deal with machinery or activities which are aligned to
Mars. If Saturn happens to be in Scorpio and its depositor Mars is in Cancer i.e. the debilitation sign
but 9th from its placement, it will show that a person would become fortune which is signified by its
9th placement but debilitated Mars will have its impact in terms of a large number of failures before the
individual will get success.

Part 3

Placement of Sun, Moon or Mercury in the 8 th from Saturn would signify that he would not be
successful in matters related to Sun (government job), Moon (dealing with liquids) and Mercury
(dealing with paper or brokerage). I am giving this example to explain as to how planets placed in the
8th house from Saturn will not be effective in their kartatwas.
However, while analyzing one should not be taking into account only planets which are 8 th to Saturn
but also other planets which are favourably disposed. A strong Jupiter placed in 11 th from Saturn is a
blessing. Similarly, Venus placed 11 th to Saturn is an excellent thing to have. So, while analyzing the
strength with respect to profession in terms of native’s horoscope one should also the planets which
are placed 11th from Saturn and then make a judgment holistically.

In the Bhrigu Nadi Technique, while analyzing profession the house where Saturn is placed should be
taken as the ascendant for determining the career path of the native. Saturn stays in a house for a
period of 30 months.

What we need to do that after taking Saturn as the ascendant and as explained above, we first need
to understand the intrinsic strength of Saturn as explained above. The next thing is to rotate Saturn in
the subsequent houses where roughly it has a period of two and a half years in each house. While
rotating Saturn in each house for a period of two and a half years and analyzing the aspects in each
rotated house, one can predict for a period of 30 months as to what is in store for the native but not
to lose sight of the basic Saturn taken as ascendant and that depicts roughly the first 30 months
depending upon the degrees of the basic foundation with respect to career.
After 30 months, Saturn moves to the next house and for the next 30 months the basic strength has
to be analysed in the same way. Example; if you are born with the Saturn in Scorpio than the first 30
months would depend on Saturn’s strength in Scorpio aspects etc. as explained above, and the next
30 months would be Saturn rotated in Sagittarius and its strength/aspects which it gets when it is in
Sagittarius.

Thereafter, as explained, the 30 months with respect to profession can be analysed by rotating Saturn
in the 12th houses and analyzing in terms of the sign, aspect, planets in 2 nd and 12 to it and the
depositor. For more accurate predictions, one needs to see the Saturn as it moves in each degree
the Nakshatras through which it passes and its impact on the current transiting position of the planets
which have to be super imposed on the natal horoscope which would change as Saturn is rotated. This
is not complexed but I would like to end this chapter here and would like the Readers to analyse
profession by taking Saturn as the ascendant and the theory of rotation as explained above. I would

The Role of Third House in Producing Criminals

The third house rules over the mind, mental balance, concentration, mental inclination to study,
mental ability to work and mental capacity to perform any work properly. So it is a highly important
house in one’s life as it delineates one’s career. If this house remains vacant, he native can  study
peacefully and can concentrate his mind properly. In any work concentration of mind is of prime
importance in all spheres of life. Without concentration, you can’t do anything properly.

Lord Krishna in the Bhagvad Gita has said, `The minds is restless, turbulent and unruly just like a
stormy mind.’ It is very difficult to control or tame the mind properly. The control which one can
exercise over mind can be judged from the third house. It had been found that the third house of
world great men of genius remained vacant. Take for example the horoscope of Rabindra Nath Tagore,
Smt. Indira Gandhi, Mahatma Gandhi, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Victor Hugo, Madam Marie Curie,
Johan Milton, Sir Winston Churchill, Jyoto Basu, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishna
etc.

If the third house remains vacant one can concentrate and achieve one’s objective. But if it is afflicted
by two or three malefic, the native turns into a juvenile delinquent. He becomes restless, aggressive,
hostile, brutal, rebellious, unable to control temper, harsh and cruel. In the end, he turns into a
violent criminal.

The Moon controls the mind and mental balance. If the Moon is afflicted by Ketu in the 3 rd house and
in a violent sign, then the native will turn into a violent criminal. If the 6 th or 8th lord is placed in the
3rd house, it produces the similar results and one becomes a violent criminal. If Venus or Mars
becomes combust in the 3rd house and in a violent sign, then also the native becomes a sexual
pervert. He then becomes too much addicted to wine and women. He may turn into a sexual-criminal.
If the 3rd house falls in Mars’ sign or Saturn’s signs and is afflicted by two malefic, then also the native
turns into a violent criminal. Let me illustrate this view with following horoscopes where people turned
into violent criminals:-

1. Date of birth: 2-2-1958 at 3 a.m. birth chart:- Aquarius-ascendant; Aries-Ketu (3 rd); Gemini-the
Moon; Libra-Jupiter and Rahu; Scorpio-Saturn; Sagittarius-Mars and Mercury; Capricorn-the Sun and
Venus.

Ketu was found in the 3rd house & in (Mars’s sign). The Moon was afflicted by Mars and Rahu, in the
5th house. The 9th house was also afflicted by Rahu. All these evil planetary positions made him a
juvenile delinquent.
2. Birth Chart:- Virgo-ascendant; Scorpio-the Moon (3 rd); Capricorn-Mercury; Aquarius-the Sun and
Venus; Taurus-Mars and Saturn; Cancer-Rahu; Leo-Jupiter.

of Mars and Saturn was found in the 9  house and in a violent sign-Taurus. These two evil planetary
positions made him a violent criminal.

3. Date of birth: 19-9-1906 at 10.25 p.m. Birth-chart:- Sagittarius ascendant; Capricorn-the Moon;

Aquarius-Saturn and Ketu (3rd) Pisces – Sun, Mercury and Venus, Aries-Mars; Taurus-Jupiter; Leo-
Rahu.

  

He was hanged to death. Conjunction of Saturn and Ketu was found in the 3 rd and Rahu in the 9th.
Mars is afflicted by Saturn, Rahu and Ketu in the 5 th house. All these evil planetary positions made him
a violent criminal.

The most violent planetary affliction is the conjunction of the Moon and Ketu in the 3 rd and in Mars’ or
Saturn’s signs. This affliction was found in a number of criminal’s horoscopes.

Saturn and Ketu are regarded as violent malefic. If the 6 th or 8th lords are posited in the 3 rd and in a
violent sign, it causes death by hanging. Conjunction of Saturn and Ketu in the 3 rd and in Leo causes
death by hanging or decapitation as in the cases of Saheed Khudiram Bose, Saheed Bhagat Singh and
Hamanta Kumar Basu.
