2. BUSINESS MODEL
A. Business CANVAS Model:
B. Pricing Model: In our business, we will be following cost plus pricing. Basically, cost
plus pricing is a method where the price is set on the basis of the cost of the goods or
services produced or served. Furthermore, with the help of this method, we will sum up the
direct material cost, direct labor cost, and overhead costs of our products, and add to it a
certain percentage in order to create a profit margin and which will lead to the derivation of
the price of the product.
C. Social Goal: Every business starts with an aim for earning profit and fulfilling some
social goals. In our case, we will look forward in providing the workers a fair wage and
health benefits and ultimately contribute in creating employment opportunities for
unemployed people in the area we will be starting our business. Mostly, we will move
forward with a view to operate our business without any adulteration.
E. Eco-friendly: We will be starting pretty small in the initial stage. Thus we will not have
the necessity to start with such big steps but in future we will forward to adopt a few
strategies, such as:
• Adopting Renewable Energy: We can use sustainable energy sources, such as solar
energy, it gets a tax advantage over the businesses that don’t. In an effort to support
renewable energy initiatives, the government offers tax breaks, rebates, and other
monetary incentives for businesses that switch over to green energy sources. By supporting
clean energy that business can save a considerable amount of money.
F. Ethical:
We aspire to the highest possible standards of animal’s rights, fulfillment and happiness for
our cows. This means not only providing a healthy life outdoors, but also natural social
interactions and the love of humans. We recognize that there are many people who aspire
to consume dairy products from cows living in a peaceful, friendly outdoor environment
eating a nutritious diet that suits their unique digestive systems. We are proud of our ability
to arrange the farm infrastructure and logistics around the natural herds and cattle social
bonds.
B. PESTEL Analysis:
Political Situation: In case of a business the political factors that affect the business are
often taken into consideration and is marked at the top in the list. It is notable to mention
that different policies and plan of government can affect one’s ongoing business for which it
is very essential for each and every firm to abide by the law. In case of our business the
political environment can have an impact our business organizations in many ways. First of
all, it could add the political unrest can be a crucial factor and lead to a major loss. It is
because if there is any political unrest we may face disruption in our distribution or there
might be less number of customers visiting our farm. Moreover, the increase or decrease in
tax could be political factor and if there is an increase in tax it might add to our cost and
such decision will have a direct effect on our businesses and reduce our profit margin. But
the recent political condition in the country is stable for which it will be an advantage for
our business.
Economic Factor: In recent times Bangladesh has been listed as a developing country and
it is owing to the growth of GDP which is now around 7%. In these circumstances,
government is taking several active measures to make the growth sustainable. It is notable
to mention that agro sector is one of the main sectors in which government is making huge
investment and making the environment attractive for the investors.
So, in this factor analysis, we have assumed that the main factor of GDP calculation is
consumption. And due to favorable economic condition, the consumption of people has also
increased from which is a favorable situation for our business as peoples’ income level has
increased.
Technological Factor: The technological environment can surely affect the business
operations and owing to changes in it. Moreover, the technology refers to the application of
knowledge in different situation in order to control or change our environment.
In case of our businesses we will leverage changing technology to improve products and
processes or even create new products and bring in new processes that will help us to
expand our market area and also the percentage of profit.
Legal Factor: In case of legal factors there are certain legal processes which make it
difficult in starting a new business and carrying out the operation. It is because there are
times when laws limit the capital allocation for a certain business and also lead to a
increment in the cost by implementing tax laws and labor laws. In our case, the type of
business we are going to open is permitted by the acting laws of Bangladesh. And also, in
order to ensure a smooth flow of operation and for continuing without any legal obstacle
we will be following the labor laws strictly and ensure a healthy environment for the
workers.
C. Porter's five forces:
There is no substitute product for cows. But the main threats will be the local farmers and
person involves in selling cows. Basically, they are the main competitors. If we can’t raise
our cows properly and can’t sell them in lower price then we might lose our customers.
People will buy this kind of products where they will get in fewer prices. So, if we do not
maintain our quality then the following things might happen:
- Declining demand of our cows
The bargaining power of the supplier is low for our organization as the Government is
supporting and also, we have easy access for raw materials needed in order to raise cows.
So, in that case we would not need much help from the other suppliers. Beside that if we
need extra suppliers there are many suppliers from whom we can get the cow and
equipment’s needed for our production.as there are many suppliers we can easily switch if
the supplier does not co-operate with us, so the bargaining power for the suppliers is less.
People buy cow in best possible price by bargaining. There are numerous number of well-
known competitors in the market, thus this increases the bargaining power of the
customers. But we will be trying to provide customer with cows in the low possible price
and the consumer will be able to change the size of the products according to their budget.
But if we could not sell our cows in low price than others, then customers will switch to the
competitor. So, the bargaining power of the customer is high.
D. SWOT :
Strengths:
Labor efficiency.
High production and quality of milk.
Structured milk production.
Hygienic Packaging.
Weaknesses:
Require more knowledge and expertise to cope up with technology.
Political issues and natural uncertainties.
Opportunity:
During Eid-Ul-Adha, demand for cows goes high to great extent so it’s a huge
opportunity to make profit.
Social gatherings for dairy products will make our business grow rapidly.
Threats:
New entrants and well-known companies.
Technological advancements.
Bargaining power of customers.

5. Marketing plan
A. Customer Analysis:
Perceive who precisely we are advertising to and what fragment of the market would be
most disposed to buy our dairy items. On the off chance that our dairy items are delivered
by without hormone cows that are allowed to nibble and are given sound ways of life, at
that point we have to figure out who these actualities will resound with and who may pay
some additional for these highlights. Families in center to upper-levels of pay are probably
going to be our best customer base. Those inspired by what goes into the nourishments and
beverages their youngsters devour and willing and ready to pay somewhat more for your
characteristic and compound free items are likely a solid match.
In western markets, dairy organizations rely upon a biological community of expansive
corporate dairy homesteads and main part of the acquisition is done from a solitary ranch.
The amusement, in India, is to total drain from some little measured agriculturists, which
could prompt irregularities in both supply volume and additionally supply quality.
With increasing disposable income, milk’s product profile is changing in urban centers. More
yoghurt, ice cream, butter and cheese are being consumed.
B. Product:
In our business, the center items will be Milk. We will begin the business with a view to
moving 100% unadulterated animals with no debasement.
C. Pricing:
In the underlying phase of our business we will take a stab at following utilizing low value
strategy to infiltrate the market. The expense of the unadulterated drain and the cow will be
set at a bit bring down cost than the contender and adding to which we would esteem the
item based on expense yet moving it at a lower cost and acquiring negligible benefit with
the goal that we can catch the market. To be more explicit, we will attempt to set costs as
lower as conceivable to build our piece of the overall industry and for holding clients from
the beginning of our business. In conclusion, we have an arrangement to grow our business
and the market region for which we will endeavor to make put in the market at first by
setting low costs by giving better quality.

Social networking sites:
In this cutting-edge time, pretty much everybody is associated on Facebook and it is such a
medium where the greatest number of individuals can become to with ease. What's more,
this is the reason, we will have our own Facebook page as "NATURE PURE DAIRY FARM" and
attempt to keep our client refreshed and be associated with them. In the principal period of
our business we will pitch our drain to neighborhood wholesalers yet in future we have the
plan to move the drain in our very own image name with bundling. Additionally, we will
move cows consistently and Eid-Ul-Adha is the time we will expect high deals and we will
organize additional offices for our client with the goal that they can see our dairy animals
and visit us for procurement.
Organize Marketing: In this part, our showcasing group will visit diverse retailers’ shop,
pastry kitchens for the most part near our business region and will make them mindful of
our things and the evaluating.
We understood that the more things individuals knew to do with their drain other than
simply drink it, the more they would purchase. So we began having companions once again
to make cheddar, spread, yogurt and frozen yogurt in our home, and they'd leave with a few
containers of drain they bought to make their very own at home! This advanced into Cheese
making classes where we would charge visitors to visit. So we made some cash giving the
class, which got us through the long winters where we didn't profit, and it conveyed huge
amounts of new clients to our store. They'd take the Cheese making class only for the sake
of entertainment yet then purchase gallons and gallons of drain to fulfill their new pastime!
It's disillusioning to pour our heart and soul (and investment funds!) into beginning a
business; at that point months after the fact ask why no one has even found out about you!
The thing about getting clients is that it's our duty to get your name out there – it's not on
the clients to discover us. By associating with neighborhood bunches in our locale, we'll
assemble precious associations with individuals who may move toward becoming clients
and expression of our ranch will begin to spread. We connected with neighborhood bunches
where we knew somebody. So rather than one-on-one we were presently meeting one-to-
numerous and could get significantly.
6. Production plan
Production planning is the planning of production and manufacturing modules in a company
or industry. It utilizes the resource allocation of activities of employees, materials and
production capacity, in order to serve different customers.
A. Manufacturing Process:
Manufacturing milk:
A cow can be milked when the udder is full and this is the reason farmer has some
adaptability in making a schedule for milking times. Additionally, the ideal opportunity for
milking a cow is in the early morning and the other time is in the late evening. A cow can be
milked with the hand. Previously, the development of milking machine where the strategy
to milk cows was just by hand, by pressing tenderly on the cow's nipples utilizing the thumb
and pointer. Still during circumstances such as the present there are individuals keep on
milking by hand today.
In case of our business, we will endeavor to milk cows no less than two times per day.
Generally, milking time takes around 10-15 minutes for every cow and on the measure of
milk the cow is delivering.
We thought of purchasing machines to acquire productivity yet conversing with a few
specialists we discovered that utilization of machineries for milking cows can increase the
overall productivity and reduce time and cost. In this way, we will purchase machineries
rather select more laborers so as to milk the cows inside the shortest possible time.
Pasteurizing milk:
We will have a milk pasteurizing plant because without pasteurizing we cannot sell our
product to the market. An average condition Holstein Friesian cow gives minimum 20 litter
milk per day. As well we have 500 milk able cows we will get minimum 10000 litter milk per
day. Then we will pasteurize raw milk throw our own pasteurization plant.
Our pasteurization process is given below.
Pasteurization Process
The raw milk is forced through the heater section where hot water on opposite sides of the
plates heat milk to a temperature of at least 72° C.
The milk, at pasteurization temperature and under pressure, flows through the holding
tube where it is held for at least 16 sec
The maximum velocity is governed by the speed of the timing pump, diameter and length of
the holding tube, and surface friction
The FDD assumes a forward-flow position if the milk passes the recorder-controller at the
preset cut-in temperature (>72° C)
The improperly heated milk flows through the diverted flow line of the FDD back to the raw
milk constant level tank
Properly heated milk flows through the forward flow part of the FDD to the pasteurized milk
regenerator section where it gives up heat to the raw product and in turn is cooled to
approximately 32° C - 9° C.
The warm milk passes through the cooling section where it is cooled to 4° C or below by
coolant on the opposite sides of the thin, stainless steel plates
The cold, pasteurized milk passes through a vacuum breaker at least 12 inches above the
highest raw milk in the HTST system then on to a storage tank filler for packaging

B. Physical Plants:
Housing System:
There exists a variety in the dairy cows housing framework based on the atmosphere, the
span of the dairy cultivates all through the world. The housing must be structured so that it
enables the entrance to food, water and in particular which gives insurance from
unfavorable natural condition. Also, it is to be noticed that the heat stress can prompt the
abatement of fertility and the production of milk. What's more, this issue of heat stress can
be illuminated by giving shade which is an imperative medium to diminish the heat stress.
In this way, if there should be an occurrence of our business, we will likewise be planning
the shed or the general housing framework in such a way, that it helps in decreasing the
stress and furthermore guarantees the fertility of milk creation and additionally the health
of the cow For the well-being of our cattle we will provide these features to our shade:
• Our Shed will be located to maximize natural ventilation.
• Cement floors will be sloped for manure management and be non-slip for cows’ comfort.
• There will be sufficient watering points or troughs for all stock.
• Cows can be maintained in tie stalls or be loose housed. They can be provided with free
stalls or have an open lounging area.
• Additional health facilities will include treatment areas for sick stock and a calving area to
permit close attention.
• Young calf will be housed according to age.
• Access to an outdoor area provides for more effective night-time cooling.
• A separate milking parlor will aid in milking hygiene.
• Good sanitation is very important for both cow cleanliness and effluent disposal. Recycling
effluent will reduce necessary fertilizer inputs to forage production areas.
7. Operational Plan:
A. Description of company’s operation:
After fulfilling all the requirements, we will ask for permission from local
government to open and start the business.
For extra facilities, we will try to gain membership in the local business
association in our business area.
We will finance our business with our personal funds, not for future funds
and also be looking funds from outside to confirm funds available on hands
to overcome financial deficit.
To get raw materials on time, we will keep contacting suppliers before.
Finally, the building of the cow shed will be started prior to 3 months of the
firm opening. Then we will manage workers and stock of cow food will be
made before starting business.

coordination and supervision are directed toward the achievement of our organizational
aims. Organizations need to be efficient, flexible, innovative and caring in order to achieve a
Sustainable competitive advantage.
A. Form of Ownership
The business will be comprised of five partners. The partners are going to invest in this business
and become the owners. But the business needs to grow more in future than new investors are
welcomed to inject money.
B. Identification of Partners
Primarily our business will be funded by ourselves equally 20% by the following five members:
2) Partners would get equal share of profits and bear any kind of losses equally.
3) No one can withdraw their allocated profit for first six months
4) For any kind of business proposition from a partner, he or she has to get the consent of
all the other partners. To deal with conflict, votes will be counted and the decision of the
majority of the partners would be granted.
5) Admitting new partners for expansion can happen but it will be according to Term-4 of
this agreement.
6) For any kind of withdrawal or death of a partner, we will follow the Partnership Acts.
C. Authority of Principals:
All the partners have equal authority. All of the partners will be general in other words; all of
them will have the authority over their specific responsibilities. As far as debt and capital
and legal obligations are concerned, every partner will share equal responsibility. The
liabilities would also be same. On the other hand, there’s also a benefit since when it comes
to tax payments and profits, the profits will not be taxed to the business, but rather will pass
directly through the partners who will then include the gains on their individual tax returns.
