Internet Safety and Student Privacy
Spring 2018_SJB MultiMedia Tools When using multimedia tools it is important to know internet safety and student privacy. Firstly, I would adhere to the law stipulated through CIPPA, COPA, and FERPA. Secondly, I would ensure that all necessary documentation is completed. Additionally, I would stay abreast of current Internet safety policies. Reflective Practice: This activity was done to lay foundational knowledge on where foods come from and how plants grow, and the parts of a plant. Students will be able to build on this knowledge as they progress. As previously mentioned, this activity can be used to link education at school and at home, as students put into action what they learn and to make their own observations. Other technology tool such as Nearpod, Discovery Education can be used to go beyond this point of the lesson
