Artifact Description: In this project I used news that was very dramatic from my classmates.

My newspaper is called “The Tea”, which refers to spilling the tea, so it’s all about drama going

on. That is a common fraise used with the younger generation. I wanted it to be more colorful but

organized like a newspaper. Overall, I enjoyed putting this together and learning new techniques.

What you learned: I learned a lot of techniques that can be used in Microsoft from this project,

which will definitely help me out for the future. I really liked learning how to make a newspaper

and get creative with the formats.

Students use collaborative technologies to work with others, including peers,
experts or community members, to examine issues and problems from multiple
viewpoints.

Application of Skills Learned for the Future: How do you see the project fitting into different

areas of the school curriculum if you were to extend the activity to the grade level and or subject

you intend to teach?

I see this project fitting into different areas of the school curriculum by providing it as a project

students could do individually or possibly even as a whole class. I think it would be fun if the
whole class created a newspaper to put out front of their door. It would build cooperative skills

and creativity.
