OnGauge Torque-Reduction Sealed-Bearing Roller Reamer
The OnGauge reamer reduces the downhole torque that is typical with
fixed-blade stabilizers, allowing for a more stable drilling environment. Fishing
neck
Three rotating cutter blocks that act as a bearing for the drillstring diameter
provide a reduced torque stabilization point that minimizes the effects
of downhole torque. Reduced downhole torque allows extended runs in
complex extended-reach drilling (ERD) geometries and improves weight
transfer to the bit to increase ROP and extend drillbit and MLWD life.

Flexible design
Each insert is securely brazed into the tool body, so there are no moving
parts to wear or fail. Consequently, the tool is not affected by hot hole
conditions. It can be placed at any point in the BHA. The tapered body
profile enables reaming both downward and upward.

Runner program
The Runner drillstring analysis program performs prerun analysis
of buckle stresses as well as torque and drag on the workstring
during the wellbore departure operation. Once the job has begun, the
Runner program provides real-time analysis of downhole parameters
encountered for comparison with modeled parameters. See page 15 in
this catalog for more information.
Hydra-Jar AP jar
The Hydra-Jar AP double-acting hydraulic drilling jar allows the driller
to control the direction, intensity, and frequency of downhole impacts.
Because the system works without applied torque, the orientation of
directional-drilling tools is maintained throughout the jarring operation.
The tool also offers the driller an important option: to jar up or down with
a force ranging from a light blow to an extraheavy impact. See page 16 in
this catalog for more information.
Accelerator AP tool
The Accelerator AP impact tool complements the Hydra-Jar AP jar’s
capability by providing additional stretch in the drillstring. This enables
answering challenges such as hole drag or if the drillstring is not heavy
or long enough. By increasing the velocity of the mass applied to the jar,
the Accelerator AP tool ensures optimal impact force from the jar. See
page 18 in this catalog for more information.
In the execution phase, the Runner program analyzes and models the
drillstring assembly and BHA configuration for optimal jar placement.
The program considers many factors, including well path, inclinations,
DLS, hole geometry, mud type and weights, system friction, contact
forces, torque and drag, and string pressure losses. Once the job has
begun, the Runner program provides real-time analysis of downhole
parameters encountered for comparison with modeled parameters.
