Rationale:
Low income families tend to struggle with paying bills, buying food and other

family. The struggle for my mother to feed and keep a house over our heads caused a lot of
stress. Lebanon County Assistance provided my family with the relief it needed. This allowed for
my family to focus on things like spending time together and education.

Many times, individuals with disabilities can have a pretty normal life if they are treated
and given the right resources early. Lebanon County Early Intervention Program starts to help
individuals with disabilities as early as birth. The program sets up individuals for success before
entering school. This program also helps relieve the stress families may have about taking care of
a special need’s child.
