Over the years, many organizations have experienced challenges and problems associated

with management of change regardless of size of the business. At any particular moment of

operations, the organization will be subjected to change since it is unavoidable. It is important

for an organization management to effectively adopt an efficient human resource planning that

will assist in managing change since it has numerous importance.

Impact of human resource planning on:

A. Employees. Human resource planning may have a positive or negative impact on the

organization personnel depending on how they observe it or the management executes it.

In most scenario adequate and effective human resource planning ensures that employees

skills and capabilities are adequately utilized to achieve maximum output.

B. Legal. Execution of human resource planning by the management can have a vibrant

aspect on how the company will react to it based on the prevailing stipulated rules and

regulations. In most scenario an organization will be required when planning to follow

the outline rules and regulations in order to avoid legal redress.

C. Financials. Human resource planning has a significant impact on the organizations

finance in terms of cost incurred in recruitment of employees. A well-structured human

resource plan will be cost effective and ensure that the organization doesn’t incur

unnecessary cost associated with recruitment.

D. Competition. Good human resource planning can provide the organization with a

competitive advantage over its competitors. It will assist in minimizing stiff competition

and the organization going out of business. It is essential for the management to adapt an

negative manner.

E. Customers. Proper human resource planning may have a positive impact on the

customers. Clients are the key component in ensuring organization success in terms of

increasing sales margin. Inadequate human resource planning can lead to the organization

losing existing clients and unable to attract new potential clients.

Contingency planning is appropriate when developing a human resource planning within

the organization (Anderson, 2019). It is important since it is essential in mitigation of risks that

might be associated when implementing human resource planning. The following are the process

involved in contingency planning;

1. Create a contingency planning statement. The statement will provide the necessary

assistance in developing the required guidance authority that is essential in formulation

and execution of the plan.

2. Conduct the organization effect analysis. This kind of analysis assist in identification and

prioritizing information structures and components that is essential in supporting the plan.

3. Developing contingency strategies. It is important to ensure that the contingency strategy

that is formulated is of great assistance in terms of problem solving.

4. Ensuring maintenance of plan. It is essential to ensure that the plan is adequately updated

to the current organizational changes for it to be efficient.

finances. In this scenario, it will assist the organization in choosing the

appropriate techniques that will ensure the organization achieves the projected

targeted revenue.

D. Competition: A contingency plan will help the organization thrive in the most

competitive environment possible. It will help the organization prepare for any

change that may affect its operations thus preparing for such a change which will

help it edge past its competitors easily.

E. Customers: A contingency plan will help the organization to deliver high quality

as well as premium priced products to its customers. This way, the organization
