carefully when considering what role you might be interested in. Director/s: The individuals whose pitch is chosen will be entrusted with the task of working closely with the creative team and the coordinator and aiding Ms Marcelle in the direction of the production. They must be flexible and hard working as well as being responsible and respecting deadlines. Overall the directors must work well together as a team and be passionate about putting out a quality show. Directors may also write their own script if they wish. The chosen director/s will need to be fully committed to work closely with the creative team, the producers Kumitat Teatru Kulleġġ, under the coordination of Ms Marcelle. This role is extremely crucial because it steers the way for the success of the production and therefore you must be willing to allow the space to be mentored by Ms Marcelle throughout the entire process right up until the dates of performances. They must be flexible and hard working as well as be responsible and respect deadlines. Overall the directors must work well together as a team and be passionate about putting out a quality show. Directors may also write their own script if they wish. Note: Individuals chosen to direct may not go out for any other role as part of cast or crew. This is only the case for the director role. Individuals chosen to direct will not be allowed to perform or be part of crew. This applies only if you are chosen to direct. Writer/s: This role involves writing the script for the production. It is important to note that the job of the writer is a continuous one, they may be called in the make additional cuts and changes as required. Therefore, they must be present throughout the entire soiree process. Writers may go out for any role they wish in cast or crew. This role involes writing the script for the production. Choreographer/s: Individuals are to devise their own choreography for the dances in the show and are required to teach it to the cast. They will also need to liaise with the director/s in their artistic choices. Vocal Coach/s: They are required to liaise with the script writer and director/s in the choices of the songs. They will also be in charge of vocal arrangements for the songs that are to be sung in the show. They need to work closely with the cast to teach them their different parts. Stage Manager: This role entails working very closely with the set designer to assign tasks among the crew members throughout the months leading up to the dates of performances. They are to keep a log of when and who will be striking and setting props and sets during the show as well as making sure work is evenly distributed amongst the crew members so that everything can work smoothly. Set Designer: This role entails working closely with the directors and the stage manager as they will be in charge of the design and creation of the props and scenery that will be used in the show.
