HENNA CONES

ROLLING YOUR HENNA CONE

I use a rectangle of cellophane/floraphane, I like to use 6 inches x 4 inches.

You can adjust this size based on the size of cone you want.

I have added a “pin” to the picture to allow you to see where the tip of the
cone will be. I do not add the pin until the cone is rolled. Be sure to tighten the
tip of your cone before taping.

We will do a live demonstration of this method during class, but please refer to
instagram tag #joeyhennaweekendcone1 for a video.

The picture on the right shows where the seams of the cone will be, and where
I like to place the tape to avoid any leaks.

FILLING YOUR HENNA CONE

This is best learnt face to face in the class, with hands on

practice. Most people start this process off very messy.
(cleanliness will come with time and practice, I promise!)

Before filling your henna cone, remove the pin. This will allow
you to distribute paste to the bottom of the cone.

for a video of this method.

SEALING YOUR HENNA CONE

1.  Use a piece of tape to seal the top of the cone.

2. Fold the top of the cone down.
3. Fold the sides of the cone at an angle.
4. Fold the top section down in half.
5. Fold one more time and place the tape.
