MEMORANDUM:

We have pleasure in advising that a general salary policy revision has been approved and
shall be implemented effective 1st February 2020..
Please consider that up to now NO BONUS PRODUCTION is AWARDED, unless special cases.
We will recognize bonus as following:
1. HQ/HQ3 Drilling: 8 SAR/meter of drilling (Production: SR-6, Safety (HSE):SR-2)
2. NQ/NQ3 Drilling: 6 SAR/meter of drilling (Production: SR-4, Safety (HSE):SR-2)
3. *Special Drilling Cases: 10 SAR/meter of drilling (Production: SR-8, Safety (HSE):SR-2)
(** Special drilling case which confirmed by the Project managers For example but not
limited to, -45 degree holes & Rock Characteristics,..Etc. ).
4. For RC drilling : 2 SAR/ Meter of drilling (Production: SR-1, Safety (HSE):SR-1)
Following conditions are considered:
1. The payment of bonus is in alternative to overtime policy, therefore driller
acceptance to work by meter will mean he will work 12 hours/daily rotation without
getting overtime compensation.
2. The driller who cross the minimum monthly limit of meters, the bonus system will be
applied for all meters drilled from zero meter.

3. Core Drillers whose salary is up to 5000 SAR / month will be eligible for a bonus if he
drill more than the Minimum production of 300 meters per month, >300 m bonus
will be applied from Zero

4. Core Drillers whose salary from 5,000 to 7,000 SAR/month will be eligible for a bonus
if he drill more than the Minimum production of 450 meters per month,>450 m
bonus will be applied from Zero

5. Core Drillers whose salary from 7,000 to 10,000 SAR/month will be eligible for a
bonus if he drill more than the Minimum production of 600 meters per month,>600
m bonus will be applied from Zero.

6. RC Drillers whose salary is up to 5000 SAR / month will be eligible for a bonus if he
drill more than the Minimum production of 1700 meters per month, >1700 m bonus
will be applied from Zero

7. RC Drillers whose salary from 5,000 to 7,000 SAR/month will be eligible for a bonus if
he drill more than the Minimum production of 2100 meters per month,>2100 m
bonus will be applied from Zero

8. RC Drillers whose salary from 7,000 to 10,000 SAR/month will be eligible for a bonus
if he drill more than the Minimum production of 2600 meters per month,>2500 m
bonus will be applied from Zero

9. Driller Must follow operation Safety and Quality Standard For example but not
limited to (Hole Deviation, Bad Recovery, incorrect BH depth, rejected Meters by
Client because of quality, site Not Clean or Environmental issue, ..Etc.) will not
eligible for bonus and without getting overtime compensation.

Terms and conditions


● Drilling/ Site managers will send driller’s evaluation reports every month.
● Drillers evaluation grades will be A, B & C.
● The driller evaluation will be based on:
a. Safety , Environmental & Housekeeping performance.
b. Production performance.
c. Maintenance performance.

Evaluation Will be done every 3 months with recording of drillers divided in 3


categories:
- Class A, senior driller with high safe quality production.
- Class B, driller with safe and average quality production.
- Class C, junior drillers under review if contract will be renewed.
● Drillers who are not rated as class A can be promoted to class A if they perform
as per the standards of class A driller for 3 consecutive months.
● Current Drillers classified class A, based on the last 6 months productivity.
● Class A will be eligible, if he desires so, for the new ROASTER policy Special for
Class A drillers, as follows:
● 5 Months and One Week Operation
● 6 Weeks-Vacation/Year (3 Weeks Paid – 3 Weeks Not Paid)
●2 Paid round ticket per Year.

This clause will enter into force gradually subject to company business needs.

Example for Payment: -


Drilling 615 Meters by Driller X
HQ 125 M * 8 SAR = 1000 SAR
NQ 490 M*6 SAR = 2940
Total bonus = 3940 SAR - Plus Total Salary
Drillers are required to sign and return for acceptance present Memo, or to confirm to
maintain present salary system with overtime and without production bonus.
