Activity 1

1. Explain this statement “ Education is a weapon , whose effect depends on who holds it in his
hands and at whom it is aimed (Stalin). As a professional taking values education subject, how
are you going to used education as your weapon.
Answer: Education is not only the key to success but much more. The knowledge we learn in
school opens and unfolds in our thinking about the things that are happening in our
environment and giving us learning. Education also opens the way for us to learn about our
rights and our associated responsibilities. Having a high quality education is fundamental to
changing the course of our lives. Education is strong when it is combined with intelligence and
understanding as a result of formal learning about the various subjects our teachers and parents
teach us. Education equals one of the key keys, bridges, stairs, and lifeblood’s of every single
person they can use on their journey and steps to life. Without it, people will find it difficult to
achieve their dreams and aspirations in this world. We holds our destiny in our hands toward to
success.
Answer: I will used education as may weapon to provides opportunities for a job not only
that it is aware and make understand the need and demands of the people, create a job for
own and for others. Hence, Education is the best weapon to fight against poverty.

2. What is the role of Values Education in response brought by the technological Changes?
Answer: Technology is helping teachers to expand beyond linear, text-based learning and to
engage students who learn best in other ways. Its role in schools has evolved from a
contained “computer class” into a versatile learning tool that could change how we
demonstrate concepts, assign projects and assess progress.

3. What is the aim of all education? How can you contribute meaningfully in building our nation?
Answer: The main objective of education is learning. To learn new things, to grasp
knowledge and to experiment those theories in the real world. It should not be based
on cramming and to win the race of completing the syllabus. It should grow children
into productive citizens that use their knowledge, talents and learned skills to sustain
themselves and help others while pushing the human race forward in areas of
equality, equity and harmony.
Answer: I can get a job, work hard, raise the children in a responsible manners, I am
become good example in our nation, be kind and always give help to others.

Activity 2
1.According to Senator Leticia Shahani. “What the Filipinos need is National Discipline.” In
our present Situation fighting for Covid 19. Do you think the values and ethics are being
shown by the Filipinos? Explain.
Answer : In spite of challenges we’re facing regarding covid 19 pandemic, every day we are
reminded that the virus has not only caused so much heart break and discord, but it has
shown the best of humanity. We see these stories of triumph over diversity, in the spread
of positivity, in the small acts of kindness that touch remind as that people are truly goods
if they have the opportunity to prove it.
2. What values do you posses while facing the challenge of pandemic Covid 19?
Answer : Share positive news and acts of kindness with your community.
There are so many examples out there of people helping one another. Share those. Talk about
those. Together we can prevent getting caught in a bad news hopelessness spiral. Another
values that I possess while facing the challenge of pandemic covid 19 is learn how to follow
rules or the law that was implemented by our community to prevent the virus infection in that
simple way of act you can help our government.

3.How can you boost / help one’s mental health regarding Covid 19? Choose three of your
classmate and send him her your words of encouragement/concern ( through messenger,
FB or any account.) Make a screen shot of your post.
Answer : Show compassion and kindness to one another – these times of fear, isolation
(both physical and social) and uncertainty are when it is most important that we
strengthen our sense of community by connecting with and supporting each other.
Remind ourselves that we can manage this much better together in solidarity, and that
COVID-19 doesn’t discriminate – it can affect anyone regardless of age, gender, nationality
or ethnicity.
Answer : In this Quarantine time, this is the time to listen to Gods voice and reflect. Let go
and let god, Obey his word and his teaching, call on Jesus name and be calm. Know what is
the purpose of all this. Dwell in his presence, do not panic. Offer prayer for everyone
safety. Wait and be patient, This too, shall pass. Nurture our personal relationship to him.
These are uncertain times. And now, more than ever, we need each other. We need each
other for support, for truth, and to feel less alone during a time that can honestly feel
quite scary. Despite the outbreak, it’s important to remember that life still goes on. Its an
affirmation that in the midst of imaginable trial, We as Filipino are strong. We have gone
through so much as one country and we will rise again because we help one another, and
we care about each other and don’t forget that God is always their to protect and guide us.
Don’t share the hate and scary, Spread the never ending love and care to every one.
In one world through one nation we will fight against Covid 19.
