CONTENT

1.0 Project Summary

1. A restaurant billing system was developed using IBM DB2-EXPRESS C.

2. The system can then prompt your staff to send correspondence that
remind customer to pay their bill description in the billing system. The ideal
should not be intuitive so that you and your staff can enter and retrieve
information quickly.

3. The new features for the restaurant is reservation system, provide many
payment method such as using an apps. For example, using boost app or
online banking. Next, provide membership for customer. Last but not least,
enter a new customer will be easier with this system.

4.0 Problem Statement and Solution

As information for the problem, the current system of restaurant is not

computerized. For instance, when a customer make an ordered for catering
services as a wedding plans, all details(including customers details) are not
recorded in a file and failed stored in a special receipts. Next, calculation of billing
system are not exist. As the management of the restaurant has to put much effort
on securing certain files so that the data would be deleted easily by a malicious
code. The restaurant also cannot take a timely order and provide a timely service
due to a lack staff and waiter.

For solution, we planned to overcome this weakness by developing the

computerized system facilities all the requirement expected by the restaurant.
Finally, we are able to implement a successful computerized system which caters
to needed in the restaurant. In this project we were able to overcome all the
weakness which was at manual system by adding up more residential
characteristics. We were finally able to produce a computerized system that
could make a big difference in the restaurant sector.

5.0 Project Function

1. The system should be able to display variety of menu.

2. The system should be able to keep the records of the order entry.

3. The system should be able to keep additional order entry.

4. Calculate and display bill and monthly collection.

6.0 Objectives of Proposed System

1. The main objective of this system is to make billing system to invoice and track
customer orders in order to meet the satisfaction level of customer.

2. Billing system makes it easier to pay bills because it aims to obtains

payments in time which is before setting up a billing accounts, the personal
information of customers is analyzed.

3. The system also aims to provide advance security when the customers using
credit card payments.

8.0 Conclusion

The outcome of all the time hard work is here. We have system which takes the
necessary choice of customers according to the filter like category of the food.
This is achieved through an easy to use graphical interface menu options. The
users can add any number of items to the receipt from any of the available food
Categories.

Customers according to their choice pay the bill via cash or debit card or credit
card method. Hence all the process will work perfect if we use this system.
