Business Card Policy


OBJECTIVE

To facilitate the Employees to avail Business cards for introductions and interactions with
business prospects and clients of the company.

APPLICABILITY

All managers are eligible to Business Cards. Employees designated as Executives / CSR’s and
above are eligible for the business cards as considered by respective HOD as important to use.

ELIGIBILITY

An eligible employee may request for a maximum of 200 cards at any given point of time out of
which 100 No’s will be administration department and will be handed over to the employee
once the first hundred cards are consumed for business.

OPERATIVE GUIDELINES

 All eligible employees will be provided with only standard / approved business cards.

 Request has to be sent by the respective individual with approval of HOD to the

administration department, soon after joining or whenever business cards are required

for business purpose only.

 Administration may check with HR department about “Name”, “Designation “etc to

ascertain the standard presentation of the business card is not deviated.

 Initially, HR will facilitate issuance of Business Cards for new employees and then, the

request to Administration will be routed through respective HOD’s.

 The processing time for business cards will normally be 7 working days from the time of

handling over the requisition.

 A business card will usually contain apart from name of the employee, designation with

division / department / function, the address / telephone number / fax number / Mobile

number and e-mail Id of Barnas.

 Employees who are not eligible for business cards as per the policy may use the plain

Barnas business cards if the usage is justified and this would be made available to them

by Administration department, on request approved by respective HOD.

 In the event of employee undertaking a business trip abroad or within India, the

designation appropriate to the purpose may be mentioned in the card. This would be

done subject to the joint approval of the HOD or HR department.

 In the event of a member being re–designated / promoted, a fresh set of cards may be

indented.
