Business Card Policy

OBJECTIVE

To facilitate the Employees to avail Business cards for introductions and interactions with
business prospects and clients of the company.

EFFECTIVE

Business Card policy will be effective from 01.04.2024

APPLICABILITY

Employees designation under Manager/Head/Chief Band including Director and Managing


Director are eligible to Business Cards. Employees designated under Individual contributor are
eligible for the business cards as considered by respective HOD as important to use.

ELIGIBILITY

An eligible employee may request for a maximum of 200 cards at any given point of time out of
which 100 No’s will be administration department and will be handed over to the employee
once the first hundred cards are consumed for business.

OPERATIVE GUIDELINES

 All eligible employees will be provided with only standard / approved business cards.

 Request has to be sent by the respective individual with approval of HOD to the

administration department, soon after joining or whenever business cards are required for

business purpose only.

 Administration may check with HR department about “Name”, “Designation “etc to

ascertain the standard presentation of the business card is not deviated.

 Initially, HR will facilitate issuance of Business Cards for new employees and then, the

request to Administration will be routed through respective HOD’s.

 The processing time for business cards will normally be 7 working days from the time of

handling over the requisition.

 A business card will usually contain apart from name of the employee, designation with

department/function, the address / telephone number / fax number / landline number

/Website/ Linkedin and e-mail Id of Shalya.

 Shalya Vision and Mission will be a part of the Standard/approved Business Card.

 Personal contact no. and email id will not be printed on the Business Card.

 Employees who are not eligible for business cards as per the policy may use the plain

Shalya business cards if the usage is justified and this would be made available to them by

the Administration department, on request approved by the respective HOD.

 In the event of a member being re–designated / promoted, a fresh set of cards may be

indented.

 At the time of separation, the employee should handover the balance visiting cards

available with him as a part of Exit Formalities

Revision of the policy

The company reserves the right to revise, modify any or all clauses of this policy depending

upon the demand of business.
