WRITING

Look at the statistics chart of key aspects in the USA and Canada and write two paragraphs of an
article.  In paragraph 1 you compare these two countries in terms of these seven aspects
and in paragraph 2 you mention some future positive results in Colombia if we ever reach a
recycling capacity of over 70 percent like in the USA and Canada. Each paragraph should be about
80 words long and you have to take punctuation rules into account and use connectors to add
clarity to your writing.  (50 Points)

Paragraph 1

Canada is smaller than the United States, however, the United States has more population than
Canada, but Canada was founded first, both have an average age of 38 to 40 years, a who average
27 to 35 cars per KM2, which makes states more vehicles than Canada, so the United States has a
pollution rate of 17.5 more than Canada with 14. Micrograms per cubic meter. and Canada has 6%
more recycling capacity than the United States.

Paragraph 2

Colombia is the second country with the largest population in Latin America, but in Colombia we
have a young population, which can generate awareness in the youngest and the elderly, so if we
raise awareness, we will recycle. Colombia can reach the top for the environment if we recycle and
stop polluting, because if we reach a recycling capacity of 70% in Colombia, we will have a better
lifestyle not only for the present generation but also for future generations.
