Escape from the Jungle

On Christmas Eve 1971, Juliana Koepke, a seventeen-year-old German girl,

their way to Pucalipa, another town in Peru, to spend Christmas with
Juliana’s father. Forty-five minutes later the plane _______________ up in a
storm and Juliana _______________ 3,000 metres, strapped in her seat. She

1. Instructions
Listen to what Callum did last Sunday. In particular listen to how he pronounces the 'ed' endings of his regular past simple verbs.

Sunday (1) turned ________  into a very long day. My mum was coming back from holiday so I went to the airport to pick her up.
