Video “Expressing a point of view”

A. What to do?

Record a video expressing to what extend you agree or disagree with Dan Pink’s
view on motivation using the present perfect, phrasal verbs, and other functions
practiced in this learning activity.

B. How to do it?

1. Click on the video The surprising truth about what motivates us

necessary and take notes. If there is any word you don’t understand, go to
www.wordreference.com and look it up.

2. Read your notes, decide if you agree or disagree with his position, and record a
video expressing your opinion.

Sample

I don’t agree with his opinion. I have had many different jobs in my life and
the most important factor has always been money. For money, people get up
earlier, work out harder, and are able to do the impossible. You need money
if you want to take care of your family. When I am looking for a job, I always
think about the salary first. I have had many different jobs where the pay has
been good and the work has been repetitive and monotonous. This is not a
problem for me. I am good at learning anything. I just need the right
incentive. In my case, this incentive is money.
 Conclusion

My point of view with regard to the video is in disagreement, because we live in a

society where we are looking for the way to survive and one of those means to

survive is through some kind of well-paid work.

I think that all human beings have certain reasons that help us to achieve the goals

and objectives in the best possible way, an example, clear would be the family.

I think that money is a very important factor that many struggle and sacrifice to

obtain, is a determining factor when it comes to develop certain skills.

lo que realmente nos motiva!

Yo pienso que cuando un trabajo es monótono las personas tienden a perder el

interés por las cosas que hacen volviéndose menos productivos, no importa si
están recibiendo una paga mensualmente se cansan más rápido mentalmente
afectando la convivencia laboral de los trabajadores. Sin embargo, el dinero es
importante a la hora de elegir un puesto de trabajo pues lo necesitas para vestirte,
comer, pagar deudas, etc. Por ultimo pienso que La motivación en cada persona
es diferente.
