As part of the IBL program, students are required to submit a Reflective diary, 400-word
submitted weekly by email: ibl@cs.latrobe.edu.au
This is worth 60% of total assessment for the subject, and is relevant to Intended Learning
Outcome 2: Apply learned skills to industry, and describe, analyze and evaluate application of
such skills to industry.
Please provide a brief summary of your IBL experience on a weekly basis using the
questions below.
Understanding the activities to be performed daily in the office. For the first 2 days.
I was explained the ongoing project which deals with HRM module. Then I have gone
through all the functionalities like dashboard and what will be displayed on dashboard,
creating employees, rostering employees, preparing timesheets etc.,
I have practiced all the modules and learnt the flow of the website.
I was assigned to test the website and noted down all the bugs and improvements.
I have gone through all the modules and understood the workflow. To get handy with the
website, I rigorously practiced the workflow and got used to it.

IBL experience helped to learn a lot of new things to improve my technical and
interpersonal skills.
