7. Course Description : Statistics is an elementary course in methods applied to statistical problems: resolution of assigned or chosen problems
appropriate for statistical applications.
8. Objectives : At the end of this course, students are expected to be able to apply the appropriate statistics correctly in research
methodology and students can keep abreast in statistical procedures and terminology in statistics.

12. Course Requirements

 Every student is required to attend all meetings.


 Every student is required to be active participant in class activities
 Students in groups are required to make a maximum of ten – page paper (using 12 –time new roman font; 1.5 spaces; A4 paper ) on a topic of
their interest to be presented in class discussion on the last meeting before the final semester examination.
 Every student is required to take mid- semester and final semester examinations.
 Missing classes will be made up based on the agreement by students and lecturer.
